From selling hardware to offering courses, embodied intelligence enterprises are accelerating their entry into schools.
Recently, an increasing number of robotics enterprises have begun to set their sights on the education market. From robots entering campuses, to the integration of courses and competitions, teacher training, and further to co-construction of university curriculums and laboratory development, the ways for enterprises to participate in education are constantly enriched.
Unitree Robotics and Digu Robot have launched an embodied intelligence education solution covering 15 themes and 180 class hours. Aibingo enters primary and secondary schools through equipment donation, curriculum resources and teacher training, while Agibot has launched a three-year teaching cooperation with the Department of Electronic Engineering of Tsinghua University to co-build laboratories and jointly develop undergraduate experimental courses. Meanwhile, enterprises including Chuanzhi Education, Deep Blue Academy, Softcom Power, Galaxy General are also promoting related businesses.
From equipment entering schools, to curriculum system development, and further to joint professional teaching carried out by schools and enterprises, robotics enterprises are accelerating the implementation path of embodied intelligence education entering campuses.

Beyond Unitree and Agibot, Who Is Deploying Embodied Intelligence in Schools?
In May this year, 20 humanoid robots from Beijing Economic and Technological Development Zone entered 5 middle schools in the zone. These devices, which had previously participated in robot football matches, were donated by Beijing Robot Financial Leasing Co., Ltd. The recipient schools include the ETDZ School Affiliated to Renmin University of China, Beijing Yizhuang Experimental Middle School and others.
According to the publicly released plan of the zone, the robots will be used for school-based courses of artificial intelligence and robotics, as well as club activities, in combination with the school-running characteristics of each school. The ETDZ School Affiliated to Renmin University of China has proposed to develop special teaching modules to encourage students to carry out secondary development and project research around the equipment.
More than 300 enterprises in the embodied intelligence and robotics ecosystem have gathered locally, covering core components, complete machine manufacturing, system integration and scenario application. The donor is a robot leasing service provider, and delivering equipment to schools is its first project after settling in the Economic and Technological Development Zone. This batch of equipment provides hardware conditions for schools to develop robotics courses, organize club activities and support students' secondary development.
In addition to equipment delivery, enterprises also participate in higher education through technical exchanges. On October 27, The Education University of Hong Kong held the Seminar on Future Education of Embodied Artificial Intelligence and Humanoid Robots, with Leju Robotics as a co-organizer, introducing the robot platform, open source data sets and industry-university cooperation experience. The calligraphy demonstration of robotic arms and interactive display of humanoid robots were also carried out on site.
Educational service institutions are also entering this field. Chuanzhi Education released embodied intelligence courses and 6 layered teaching robots in July this year, including desktop robotic arms, autonomous navigation vehicles, biped robots and others. According to the enterprise, this batch of hardware adopts the customized open source version for teaching, supports secondary development, and is equipped with courses for undergraduates, higher vocational colleges and vocational skill training.
From ontology and platform enterprises, to educational institutions and leasing service providers, different participants are contacting schools with their own resources. How to coordinate equipment, development tools and teaching content has also become an important part of subsequent cooperation.

Integration of Courses and Competitions, Teacher Training, What Are the New Approaches to Enter Campuses?
On October 30, Unitree Robotics and Digu Robot launched the embodied intelligence education solution at Changsha Educational Equipment Exhibition. Unitree provides Go2 quadruped robot and R1 humanoid robot, Digu provides Sunrise S100 intelligent computing platform, and the solution also includes Guyueju desktop robot.
The product is not limited to the hardware list, but also covers the curriculum system, practical projects and teaching environment construction.
The courses are designed in two stages: desktop level and real machine level. Students first get in touch with basic development through desktop robots, and then move on to the comprehensive application of quadruped or humanoid robots. The 15 themed courses cover a total of 180 class hours, and there are 6 additional courses integrating courses and competitions, involving projects such as dual robot relay, Go2 stable transportation challenge and R1 robot referee.
Such a combination corresponds to the different business capabilities of the two parties. Unitree's product foundation lies in robot ontology and motion control, while Digu Robot provides computing power platform and development ecosystem. The two parties integrate existing products and resources into a solution for primary and secondary schools, make it clear that education is the first scenario for this cooperation, and plan to expand to other fields in the future.
Unitree's product foundation lies in robot ontology and motion control, while Digu provides computing power platform and development ecosystem. The two parties combine existing capabilities into a school-oriented solution, and take education as the first scenario for this cooperation. According to the information disclosed by Digu, its DUP University Developer Program has covered more than 500 universities, held more than 1000 courses and activities in total, and gathered more than 50 education partners.
Other enterprises enter schools through regional projects. In October, 11 primary and secondary schools in Shunde received AI teaching assistant robots and supporting resources as gifts. The project was initiated by a special fund related to the Taofen Foundation, with technical support from the Intelligent Robotics Research Center of Tsinghua University, and implemented by Aibingo. According to the project introduction, each school received equipment, software and teaching materials worth about 680,000 yuan, together with supporting teacher training and regular teaching guidance.
At Daliang Experimental Primary School, teachers used the Bingo AI teaching assistant robot to carry out an open class of "Robot System" for the third grade, followed by teaching evaluation by teaching researchers and practical operation training for teachers. Compared with the solutions of Unitree and Digu that focus on embodied intelligence development practice, this project mainly serves general artificial intelligence education and classroom assistance, and the product positioning is not exactly the same. This project takes public welfare donation as the entry point, and introduces equipment, curriculum resources and teacher training into schools together.
In addition to courses for students, teacher training is also included in relevant services. In April 2025, Chinese Association of Automation, Deep Blue Academy and Unitree Robotics jointly held the first phase of humanoid robot teacher training for universities, with 26 teachers from 19 universities and scientific research institutes participating. The practical operation content involved robot motion design and large model voice control deployment.
The relevant practice of Softcom extends to curriculum organization. According to the public records of Henan Vocational College of Applied Technology, during this summer vacation, 10 professional teachers went to Jiangxi Softcom Power to carry out 10-day enterprise practice, visited the Softcom Education training base, participated in project practice, and discussed class hour setting, teaching content and difficulty gradient.
Enterprises provide tasks and resources, while teachers still need to arrange teaching according to students' foundation and the number of equipment. The more specific the curriculum plan is, the more clear it is for schools and enterprises to clarify who will undertake the subsequent development, training and technical support.
PART.03
Co-construction of Curriculums and Laboratories, How Do Robotics Enterprises Enter Universities?
In September this year, the Department of Electronic Engineering of Tsinghua University announced a three-year teaching cooperation with Agibot to co-build an embodied intelligence teaching laboratory and jointly develop the undergraduate course "Comprehensive System Experiment of Embodied Intelligence". The course is 2 credits with 45 class hours, targeted at senior undergraduates, with a capacity of 16 students divided into two small classes.
The first half of the semester is arranged with simulation modeling, teleoperation and data collection, model training and deployment. In the second half of the semester, students work in groups of two, draw up real machine tasks by themselves, complete topic selection, experiment and final conclusion, and submit reports and on-site demonstrations. Before the official start of the course, the team organized 8 undergraduates into 4 groups to test the course in the spring of this year, and completed the whole process from simulation to real machine deployment.
Agibot provides 5 sets of Elf G1 robots, supporting VR teleoperation equipment and Genie Studio development platform, participates in curriculum research and development and provides technical support. The Department of Electronic Engineering of Tsinghua University is responsible for venues, computing and network resources, as well as teachers, teaching assistants and teaching organization. During the cooperation period, the two parties also plan to expand the experimental direction and carry out teacher training.
The Department of Electronic Engineering of Tsinghua University has had experience in co-constructing courses with institutions such as Microsoft Research Asia, Meituan and Sense Time before. This cooperation incorporates embodied intelligence equipment and development platforms into a course with clear class hours, experimental tasks and personnel allocation, and the links of enterprise participation extend to professional experimental teaching.
Galaxy General provides another type of scenario-based teaching opportunity. In September this year, 14 undergraduates taking the course "Exploration of Embodied Intelligence Scenarios" of Tsinghua University walked into the enterprise, observed robots identify and pick up items in convenience stores, and carry boxes in the warehousing environment, getting in touch with tasks and environments in industrial applications.
On-campus experiments provide students with conditions for development, deployment and repeated debugging, while enterprise scenarios help students understand the practical problems faced by technologies. The form of cooperation needs to match the curriculum objectives.
In these cases, the education business of enterprises has involved equipment delivery, curriculum development, teacher training and laboratory co-construction, and the products have also expanded to the combination of robots, computing platforms, development tools and teaching resources.
After the increase of participating links, the division of labor in curriculum research and development, experimental guidance, equipment maintenance and content update needs to be more clear. Whether a set of solutions can be used continuously ultimately depends on whether teachers can organize teaching, whether students can complete experiments, and whether subsequent technical support can keep up.
