Aippy Secures Tens of Millions in Series A Funding, Valued at $250M | Exclusive from 36Kr

36Kr has learned that the AI game community "Aippy" developed by the NADA AI team recently completed its first-round financing of tens of millions of dollars. This round was invested by Glowill Capital, and the post-investment valuation is $250 million. The funds from this round will be mainly used for the introduction of top talents and the large-scale growth of users in the core markets of Europe and the United States.

Aippy was founded in 2025 and was incubated by Chizi Technology, a listed company on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. Its founder and CEO, Evan (Ye Chunjian), is a co-founder of Chizi Technology and has long served as the CTO of Chizi Technology. He has more than a decade of in-depth experience in the overseas social and gaming fields. Currently, the team has nearly 30 members. The core members are from top domestic and international universities such as Tsinghua University, Northwestern University in the United States, and the Technical University of Munich, covering key positions such as algorithms, products, and operations.

As an AI-driven game creation and interaction community, Aippy positions itself as a UGC platform that enables the younger generation of digital natives to "create games by everyone." Users only need to describe their ideas in natural language, and AI can generate interactive games within a few minutes. Other users can immerse themselves in the UGC games on the platform like swiping short videos, and they can also remix the existing works with one click, integrate their personal creativity, and then republish them.

It is understood that Aippy was initially born from the exploration of AI tools. When the concept of Vibe Coding emerged in early 2025, Evan led the team to enter this field, but soon the product made a key strategic shift. The team judged that the ceiling of the pure AI tool track was limited. It not only faced competition from giant manufacturers but also had difficulty solving the two core problems of user stickiness and commercialization.

After AI lowers the threshold for creation, the creativity of ordinary users is waiting to be released. If an AI game creation community for the general public can be built, the market space is much larger than that of the tool track. Therefore, the team resolutely gave up the pure tool direction, entered from the game categories familiar to young people, and officially shifted to the C-end AI game community. It only took a few months to complete the product verification.

As of now, the total global downloads of Aippy have exceeded 3 million, and the monthly active users are nearly 2 million. It has a score of 4.8 on the US App Store; the total number of UGC game works on the platform has exceeded 2 million, and the daily new creation volume has increased by 10 times compared with the beginning of the year.

In addition, the average daily usage time of users has increased by 25% compared with the beginning of the year, and the DAU interaction rate is close to 50%; the core Discord community has gathered 15,000 in-depth users, forming a real communication atmosphere for creators.

To lower the creation threshold for ordinary users, Aippy has made a lot of targeted product optimizations: the platform provides preset creative templates for guidance, and AI will give users real-time extended creation suggestions to prevent users from getting stuck when facing a blank page; it supports full-link creation tools such as voice input, AI-generated materials, one-click error repair, and preview adjustment, so that the entire creation process can be completed on the platform, and users do not need to jump to other tools.

The core Remix secondary creation mechanism further lowers the creation threshold. When users see a work they like, they can directly modify it on the original basis, integrate their personal creativity, and then republish it. The NADA AI team said in an interview with 36Kr that the choice to focus on the core markets in Europe and the United States is based on three considerations: First, users in Europe and the United States have a higher acceptance of novel AI-native content, and the UGC creator culture is more mature, which is naturally compatible with Aippy's model; Second, users in Europe and the United States have already developed the habit of content payment, and there is no need to re-educate the market, so the efficiency of verifying the business model in the early stage is higher; Third, the current mainstream large language models have better understanding and generation quality for English prompts than other languages, which can provide users with a better AI generation experience.

This strategy has also been verified by data: Aippy's current proportion of natural traffic has exceeded 30%, which proves that the product has formed a self-spreading trend and does not need to rely entirely on buying traffic.

After this round of financing, Aippy will focus on two core directions. One is to continue to optimize the content recommendation and distribution mechanism to improve the user experience; the other is to upgrade the creator growth system and incentive mechanism to jointly build a healthy and high-quality game content community with more creators. Currently, NADA AI hopes to attract more senior algorithm and Agent engineers, as well as top talents in product operation.

Regarding the AI interactive game track, the Aippy team believes that the value of AI is not to replace professional game developers but to release the creativity of ordinary users. The relevant person in charge of Glowill Capital said that the investment in Aippy is mainly based on two judgments: First, the team has solid experience in ToC Internet products and overseas market operations, and has deep accumulation in fields such as social and gaming, with a scarce ability model; Second, they are optimistic about the growth space of the track, and Aippy is at the forefront in the direction of "lowering the threshold for game creation + building a community ecosystem."
