Welcome to scan the code to follow Intelligent Emergence

On January 7, local time in the Western United States, the 2025 Consumer Electronics Show (CES 2025) officially kicked off in Las Vegas.

As a weathervane of the global technology industry, CES has attracted more than 4,000 exhibitors and 130,000 industry participants to gather together this year. From AI to chips, from AR/VR to wearable devices, every technological hotspot is concentrated and erupting at this exhibition.

Chinese enterprises continue to play an important role. About 1,300 exhibitors have brought the latest scientific and technological achievements, accounting for more than 30% of the total exhibitors. Among them, there are both emerging enterprises that are beginning to show their talents and industry giants that have attracted much attention.

The theme of this exhibition is "DIVE IN" (Immersion). A large number of enterprises use virtual reality devices, interactive technologies and holographic images on the exhibition stand to bring the audience a scene display that is closer to future life.

The "Intelligent Emergence" team has also come to the scene to bring you the first-hand new product reports in the exhibition area. Let’s go!

(Due to the extremely dense content of CES exhibitors, we only select the most essential highlights to present. If you also have eye-catching products to present, you can scan the author's QR code at the end of the article to provide information!)

1. Intelligent Terminals:

Lenovo "Rolls" PC Screen

Lenovo released the ThinkBook Plus Gen 6 at CES. This mass-produced scrollable screen AI PC has a display size of 14 inches in the normal state. If the touch button or gesture control is triggered, the user can vertically extend the display to 16.7 inches, which is convenient for editing documents, making PPTs and other business office work.

Unitree, A Ridable Robotic Dog

At this CES, Unitree Technology exhibited the wheeled version of the robotic dog B2-w. It can not only achieve functions such as rotation and handstand, but also traverse complex terrains, such as sliding down from a rock slope on two or four wheels and moving on a slippery rock. Since B2-W can load a heavy object of 40kg, you can even ride B2-W to slide.

Rokid, Using Eyeglass Lenses as AR Displays

At this CES, the domestic manufacturer Rokid showcased three AR products, among which the AR glasses Rokid Glasses attracted a lot of attention. This pair of glasses can display a clear virtual interface on the lenses without affecting the line of sight, thereby realizing the superimposed display of information. This means that the lenses can directly display subtitles, translation content, navigation AR interfaces, etc.

In terms of AI capabilities, Rokid Glasses integrates the Tongyi Qianwen large model and has functions such as object recognition, text translation, and mathematical problem-solving. For example, it can quickly calculate the calorie content of food and display it immediately; when communicating with foreign friends, it can automatically translate into text.

It is understood that Rokid Glasses will also support multiple large models such as ChatGPT and Gemini in the future, and users can choose by themselves.

Samsung, A Mobile Robot That Can Project

Ballie is a yellow spherical mobile robot created by Samsung. Samsung hopes that it can move in the home to complete various tasks, such as turning on and off the lights and remotely controlling the pet feeder. At the same time, Ballie can also become an intelligent assistant, understand language, visual and other information, and answer users' questions.

Unlike other robots, Ballie has multiple control methods such as voice, mobile phone input instructions, and projection. The projection module in the front of Ballie can project the option interface on the ground. Users can step on the option projected on the ground to complete the control. Of course, Ballie can also be transformed into a projector to automatically find a suitable wall to project movies.
