The Frontline | Changan Qiyuan E07 Goes on Sale, Equipped with 7 Intelligent Technologies Such as Self-developed Intelligent Driving.

On October 21, Changan's mid-to-large new vehicle, Qiyuan E07, was officially launched with a price of 199,900 yuan. This vehicle is Changan's first model to impact the high-end market.

As an important selling point, the new vehicle is equipped with Changan's seven intelligent technologies, including Changan SDA Tian Shu Architecture, Changan Tian Shu Large Model, Changan Intelligent Driving, Changan Tian Yu OS, Changan Tian Yu Intelligent Cockpit, Changan Tian Heng Intelligent Chassis, and Changan Tian Yu Intelligent Extended Range.

Especially in the aspect of intelligent driving, Qiyuan E07 is equipped with Changan's self-developed intelligent driving system. This project is led by Ji Tao, a former Baidu autonomous driving veteran. After joining Changan, Tao Ji serves as the Chief Intelligent Driving Technology Officer and leads a team of over a thousand intelligent driving professionals.

At the launch event, Tao Ji detailed the capabilities of the intelligent driving system. Currently, the mass-produced Changan Qiyuan E07 has already been equipped with the high-speed pilot and parking assist functions in "Changan Intelligent Driving", as well as functions such as high-speed AEB braking and voice control of the vehicle. And the self-developed urban pilot-assisted driving is also on the way.

Tao Ji stated that Changan Intelligent Driving can achieve L2+ based on the end-to-end large model. And this is thanks to the central mesh architecture and Tian Shu large model designed by Changan.

Changan stated that the SDA Tian Shu Architecture is an anthropomorphic architecture for the future embodied intelligence created by Changan. This architecture coordinates massive data in the five intelligent vehicle fields of "intelligent driving, intelligent cockpit, vehicle body, power, and chassis", and has an optional vehicle AI computing power of 200 - 1000 Tops, which can support the local deployment of large models with billions of parameters.

And the Tian Shu large model is an end-to-end architecture created by Changan. This architecture is divided into three major parts: the perception system, the reasoning and interaction brain, and the planning and control.

After establishing the end-to-end system, with the massive data training of millions of new vehicles added by Changan every year and the equivalent of thousands of A100 computing power clusters prepared by Changan, Changan's self-developed intelligent driving system has taken shape and has a higher ceiling. Tao Ji stated that Changan's future high-level intelligent driving will be equipped with a computing power of over 500 Tops as standard. Changan's goal is to become the leader in the intelligent driving industry by 2027.

In terms of the intelligent cockpit, Qiyuan E07 is equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 chip and supports the 9-zone full-scene voice interaction function, replacing the electric control function with voice control.

In order to sell this vehicle well, Changan Qiyuan E07 is also equipped with capabilities such as Tian Heng Intelligent Chassis and Tian Yu Intelligent Extended Range, and has features such as ventilation and heating for all vehicle seats, 9 standard airbags, a 0 - 100 km/h acceleration of 3.96 seconds, and the ability to switch between SUV and pickup in one second.

Qiyuan E07 will be the first proof of Changan's self-developed intelligence system and also carries the high expectations of the Changan brand's upward development. Whether it can attract the target user group still needs time to observe.
