On October 16, Zhujili Dynamics launched its first multi-form bipedal robot, TRON 1, which is available in standard and EDU versions. The early bird price of the standard version starts at 69,800 yuan, and it is simultaneously listed at home and abroad.

The main customer group of TRON 1 is scientific research institutions. Its foot form can be switched to three types: two-wheel, two-point foot, and bipedal, to meet the different development needs of users. It is reported that TRON 1 can automatically switch the operation control mode after adaptive recognition according to the shape change after the foot end is disassembled and assembled. Its built-in high-performance motion control algorithm further lowers the usage threshold, and the TRON 1 can be remotely controlled to walk without complex debugging.

In terms of hardware, TRON 1 is equipped with practical peripheral interfaces, and users can install a variety of expansion accessories according to their needs, such as radar, robotic arm, camera, and dual-optical pan-tilt, to meet different scientific research needs including industrial applications.

In response to the development needs of scientific research users, TRON 1 also opens the underlying hardware interface, and users can call the key control functions of each joint of the foot.

In terms of development, TRON 1 supports the full-process development using Python, and users do not need to master complex programming languages such as C++. At the same time, it supports one-click deployment of Sim2Real, making it easier for users to verify the algorithm on the real machine. This significantly lowers the development threshold of reinforcement learning algorithms.

TRON 1 is also equipped with a secondary development guide and code examples, and supports mainstream simulation platforms such as Isaac, Mujoco, and Gazebo, which helps developers quickly realize the design and verification of the algorithm through development resources and cross-platform environments.

The video released by Zhujili Dynamics shows that TRON 1 has strong stability and can jump down stairs and jump in place. In the two-wheel form, it can also achieve rapid rotation in place.

Zhujili Dynamics is a general robot R & D and manufacturer, focusing on creating full-size general humanoid robots, and has derived innovative products including bipedal robots and four-wheel-foot robots.

TRON 1 is the third robot released by Zhujili Dynamics. Previously, Zhujili Dynamics released the four-wheel-foot robot W1 and the humanoid robot CL-1. The official website of Zhujili Dynamics shows that the application scenarios of its four-wheel-foot robot W include industrial inspection, special applications, scientific research and education, logistics and distribution, etc.

The current R & D focus of Zhujili Dynamics is legged robots. Zhang Wei, the founder of Zhujili Dynamics, once said, "General legged robots are the best carrier of general AI in the physical world." The launch of four-wheel legged robots and bipedal robots will lay the foundation for Zhujili Dynamics to launch general humanoid robots.
