Sberbank of the Russian Federation has unveiled the results of the GigaArt AI Art Creation Festival, with participants from all across Russia jointly creating nearly 500,000 works of art.
340 outstanding works created by participants with the help of the AI assistant GigaChat are simultaneously exhibited on the official event website and on the facades of large media venues across Russia.
Art erases boundaries — whether the barriers of region, generation and profession, or the distance between professional artists and first-time practitioners. The recently concluded GigaArt AI Art Creation Festival, hosted by Sberbank, is a vivid embodiment of this concept.
To celebrate Russia's National Unity Day, Sberbank has launched a promotional campaign inspired by the creation festival on digital screens in cities across the country, extending festive greetings to all citizens. With the theme of "AI Art Unites Us, Deep Affection from Russia", this event is an important part of the series of celebrations for the 185th anniversary of the founding of Sberbank.
This creation festival was launched on Russia Day and successfully concluded on National Unity Day. During the event, hundreds of thousands of people from all over Russia took traditional folk crafts, natural scenery, literary classics and local legends as inspiration, and created their own vision of Russia together with GigaChat.
Participants created about 500,000 works through this AI assistant. The jury selected 340 best works from them, which were then exhibited on large digital screens in major cities across the country. The creation festival is open to all people, no professional art background or AI usage experience is required — you only need to describe an idea in words, and GigaChat will convert it into an image.
Vladislav Kreinin, Senior Vice President of Sberbank and Director of Marketing and Communications Department, said:
"Every one of us has our own Russia. In the eyes of some people, it is the natural scenery of their native land; in the hearts of others, it is the favorite books in childhood, or the stories of their own city. We invited everyone to share the things precious to them with the help of artificial intelligence, and then we saw thousands of different stories converge into a magnificent picture of the motherland. Technology has never replaced human creativity, but provides a way of self-expression for those who may never have tried art creation before.
On the 185th anniversary of its founding, Sberbank wants to tell everyone: Art has no boundaries by nature. The picture of Russia created by tens of thousands of people unites all the people across the country. The power of creativity to bring people together is far stronger than the power of distance or language to separate people. Wish everyone a happy National Unity Day!"
From November 2 to 6, the campaign works inspired by the GigaArt Creation Festival are exhibited on digital screens in cities across Russia.
