DailyList: Using AI to help young people find the exercise rhythm that suits them best

DailyList leverages AI to help users go from wanting to exercise to actually getting moving.

People can track how many steps they took yesterday and how many kilometers they ran last week, yet they still find themselves hesitating after work: Should I work out today?

Then comes a string of more specific questions. Running, tennis, or stretching? What can you get done in the half hour you've set aside tonight? If you want to find someone to work out with, can your schedules align? A single workout often requires several arrangements to be made first, and each additional condition that needs coordination adds one more step to the preparation before you head out the door.

"DailyList" chooses to cut in at this very link. Targeting young urban sports enthusiasts, this product provides daily exercise suggestions centered around "how should I move today", and uses AI to explain the reasons for recommendations, aiming to help people who have the willingness to exercise but struggle to form a stable habit to take action.

According to the team, the idea for the project originated on Christmas 2025. After founder Eddie (ZHANG Yu) fell in love with playing tennis, he found it not easy to find suitable sports partners. The team thus began to focus on how a single workout can actually happen: users need to select an activity, and also arrange their time, personal preferences and co-participants properly.

The product roadmap of DailyList unfolds accordingly. It starts with personal daily exercise selection, then explores social connections in sports scenarios, and smart jewelry that can supplement daily status information.

A Single Workout Starts With One Suggestion

DailyList sets its product entry around a specific question: What can I do today?

When users open the app, they can check the daily exercise suggestions and corresponding explanations, then choose to start the activity. After completing the workout, they can look back on their activities over a period of time through check-ins, activity calendars and progress records. One use case can revolve around one activity on the very day, and gradually accumulate into continuous records.

In this process, AI is mainly responsible for explaining the suggestions to help users understand the reasons for recommendations. The product organizes exercise suggestions by combining information such as user preferences, and also allows users to authorize connection to Apple Health, Siri and other services, processing relevant data on the device side to present activity and status information.

DailyList also integrates the Five Elements from traditional culture and daily rhythm into its content expression, allowing users to observe their own feelings starting from the daily theme. This part serves as an expression of lifestyle.

At present, DailyList has been launched on the App Store, supporting iPhone and Apple Watch. Daily suggestions, AI explanations, exercise check-ins and activity calendars constitute the main product experience at this stage. Source: App Store

From Personal Optimum To Co-participation

The "looking for tennis partners" problem that the founder encountered at the very beginning is still included in DailyList's follow-up plans.

For activities that require co-participation such as tennis, after deciding to work out, you still need to confirm who is available, whether their skill level is appropriate, and where to meet. Connections between people ultimately need to land on an activity that can be completed together.

The team hopes to move in this direction to connect personal exercise suggestions with co-participation scenarios. For example, it will organize offline experiences around activities such as hiking and cycling, allowing users to meet peers in specific sports. The corresponding matching mechanism, activity organization and service methods are still in the exploration stage.

This also explains why DailyList describes its long-term direction as an online sports and health community. Daily suggestions provide an entry point to continuously reach users, while group activities provide scenarios for social relationships to develop.

Software First, Then Explore Smart Jewelry

According to the team, DailyList's domestic operating entity, Yidian Yuanquan (Nanjing) Technology Co., Ltd., was established in Jiangbei New Area, Nanjing in April 2026. Founder Eddie is a serial entrepreneur, and the team covers product, algorithm, marketing, design and other fields. The resume provided by the team shows that WANG Yuanchi, the technical lead, is a PhD candidate at Wuhan University, and once worked as an algorithm intern for large models at ByteDance; ZHANG Shuyi, the marketing lead, once served as L'Oréal Asia Pacific Marketing Director.

Commercialization first starts with software subscriptions. The Premium price listed on the US App Store is $7.99 per month and $77.99 per year. In addition to subscriptions, the team also plans to explore sports scenario services and smart hardware sales. Source: App Store

In terms of hardware, DailyList is exploring the Loopoo AI smart earring, hoping to turn daily jewelry into an entry point for supplementary status information. The proposed R&D solution adopts two temperature perception channels, including ear-fitting temperature and ambient reference temperature, trying to record the skin temperature of the earlobe and environmental changes, and then explore the application methods of combining this information with activity feedback.

Loopoo is currently in the stage of hardware solution evaluation and prototype verification preparation. Wearing comfort, temperature measurement stability, battery life, and whether the collected information can improve exercise suggestions are all questions that need to be answered through physical tests in the next step. According to the team's current plan, it will promote the prototype verification of smart jewelry in 2027, explore overseas crowdfunding, and improve the delivery process of subscriptions and scenario services.

From daily suggestions to group activities, and then to smart earrings, all of DailyList's explorations revolve around the same starting point: helping users complete a workout that suits them. It truly uses AI to open up the last mile of sports from "thinking about it" to "making it happen", and builds a global youth online social health club.
