WISE 2026 Special Initiative - Call for Re:Frame Contributors
Re:Frame is a special curated session launched by 36Kr at the WISE 2026 "Business Leader of the Year" event, which is an annual case collection and on-site release program for innovators.
Why do we launch the "Re:Frame Participant Call"?
Today, innovation is being discussed across all industries. But the innovation that truly transforms an industry is often not noticeable at the very beginning. It may only be a re-raised question, a changed delivery method, a newly built connection system, or a new standard that makes people start to judge "what counts as excellent".
This event is jointly initiated by 36Kr and 42Chapter. We aim to find individuals, companies and projects that are reshaping the original rules of their industries through new technologies, new products, new business models or new collaboration methods.
What is Re:Frame looking for?
We are not only looking for projects that "grow bigger and faster", but also pay more attention to innovations that truly break the "old defaults" of the industry:
Restate the Problem
Instead of answering the questions that the industry has always been asking, you put forward a brand new question.
Restructure the Supply
You have changed the mode of products, production, supply chain, services or delivery.
Rewrite the Connection
You have rewritten the collaboration relationship between channels, trust mechanisms and upstream and downstream players in the industrial chain.
Redefine the Value
You have changed the pricing logic, evaluation system of the industry, or the criteria for measuring "excellence".
What is the significance of Re?
For the industry, Re hopes to provide a set of change signals that deserve early attention. They may not have reached the largest scale yet, but they may represent a new technical path, product logic, business model or industrial relationship.
For innovators, Re aims to offer not just an honor, but an opportunity to obtain the "right of definition". Selected participants can clearly state publicly:
How the industry operated in the past, what I have changed, and why this change deserves to be seen by more people.
For the general audience, Re is not just displaying several outstanding projects. We hope to help more people understand that the future does not come all of a sudden through these real cases — it often first appears in the products, clients, orders and delivery sites of a small group of people.
Who can participate
"I am redefining the industry" — Self-nomination
If you are an entrepreneur or industrial practitioner who is promoting a product, technology, model or solution that may change the rules of the industry, you can submit an application for the project you are working on.
"I see someone redefining the industry" — Recommendation for others
If you observe that an individual, company or project is transforming an industry, you can also recommend them and explain:
What have they changed? Why are you convinced of this?
After the recommended party confirms the relevant information, the application will officially enter the review process.
How to submit an application
- Describe the change in one sentence: What "old default" of the industry has the party replaced with what "new default"?
- Introduce the project in 100 words: Try to make people who do not know this industry understand it within one minute.
- Provide real progress: You can submit verifiable materials such as data, clients, orders, delivery records, partners, patents or public reports.

Shortlisting Process:
Preliminary screening by the 36Kr editorial team
The screening is carried out based on "Authenticity × Sharpness × Ongoing Progress", focusing on judging whether the change is real, clear and has generated tangible progress.
Public announcement of Top 50 list
The selected projects will be open to the whole network, and public endorsement from the public will be opened. The endorsement is not a ranking vote, and it only serves as a reference signal for the review.
Final review by the joint judging panel
The review is conducted jointly by the 36Kr team, representatives of partners, front-line investors and industry scholars.

Your project will be included in the e-book "2026 Re List", and get public exposure across all online platforms.

Your project will enter the finalist pool, and get supporting promotion resources.

You will step onto the main stage of WISE 2026 Summit, and get a 15-minute independent Re:Frame roadshow presentation opportunity.

Professional judge review: November 16-20, 2026
WISE on-site roadshow: November 28, 2026

Shortlisting Criteria
Basic Value (Sharpness + Ongoing Progress) (20%): Sharpness: Unique perspective, directly targeting the real problems of the industry, breaking away from homogeneous narratives; Ongoing Progress: The project is in progress, with observable progress recently, and has current value for industry discussion.
Innovation Value (30%): The technology, product, business model or solution has breakthrough innovation, provides new paradigms and new ideas for the industry, and is different from existing mature solutions.
Implementation and Growth Potential (30%): Solid implementation, clear team capabilities and core barriers; the project can be iterated continuously, has expected growth space, and controllable business risks.
Industry Influence (20%): It has demonstration and reference value for the industrial chain, can inspire industry consensus, fits the core topics of current industries, and has long-term reference significance.
