Recently, a campus recruitment offer letter allegedly from Evergrande Group has been circulating on social platforms. The screenshot shows that the employing entity is the headquarters of Evergrande Group, the department is the General Management Center, and the training program is the "Star Program" for fresh graduates. The offer letter states that the recruitment went through resume screening, initial interview, re-interview and final review procedures.

According to the verification of Future Habitat, the "Star Program" is a college student training program that Evergrande Group has implemented since it launched campus recruitment in 2003. On Evergrande's official website, the campus recruitment poster stops at 2021.

Through searching on third-party job hunting platforms, currently only the "Yingjiesheng" platform shows the 2027 autumn recruitment information sessions of Evergrande Tourism Group Co., Ltd. and Evergrande New Energy Technology Group, but the holding time on the detail page is 2020 and 2021 respectively, and the 2027 session is probably a display error of the platform.

As far as campus recruitment is concerned, only the information of Jinbi Property has been found at present, and this company is the domestic entity of the listed company Evergrande Property Services.

Many universities including Sanming University, Sichuan Agricultural University, Henan University of Economics and Law have published the recruitment information on their own employment information websites. The recruited positions are management trainees called "Golden Top Student", and the training directions include general management, legal affairs and information technology.

Moreover, the positions published by different universities come from different cities. The positions published by Sanming University are located in Fujian, while other universities have published recruitment notices for work locations in Changsha, Beijing, Shijiazhuang and other places.

These notices only prove that Evergrande Property Services is still carrying out campus recruitment, and the difference between the names of "Golden Top Student" and "Star Program" is enough to show that the position in the circulating screenshot does not belong to Evergrande Property Services.

Although no evidence has been found that Evergrande Group's campus recruitment is still being carried out in a systematic manner, one fact is undeniable: two months after its founder Xu Jiayin was sentenced to life imprisonment, Evergrande's internal system is still operating.

On August 20, the Shenzhen Intermediate People's Court issued a public first-instance verdict on the cases of Evergrande Group Co., Ltd., Evergrande Real Estate Group Co., Ltd. and Xu Jiayin. Evergrande Group was fined 8.82 billion yuan, Evergrande Real Estate was fined 7 billion yuan, Xu Jiayin was sentenced to life imprisonment, deprived of political rights for life, and all his personal property was confiscated.

Evergrande Group once ran businesses spanning real estate development, new energy vehicles, cultural tourism, health preservation, agriculture and animal husbandry consumption, finance and insurance, and sports clubs. Even after entering the liquidation procedure, Evergrande still has businesses in operation: the remaining unsold properties across the country that have not been fully delivered, a 100,000-person property management team covering communities of about 600 million square meters under management, landscape maintenance for remaining projects, as well as account clearing and remaining affairs at the headquarters level.

Such a huge Evergrande will not disappear directly just because it enters the liquidation procedure.

On various recruitment websites, Evergrande Group and its subsidiaries still post social recruitment information, most of which belong to the property sector, and the recruitment information belonging to the group is mostly administrative positions.

Evergrande Real Estate Group once publicly disclosed that by the end of July 2026, the total number of delivered properties across the country had exceeded 1.24 million units, and the proportion of remaining undelivered units was less than 1%.
