From interest classes to parenting collaboration, Juan Le Me is exploring AI butler.
A single interest class for a child is usually tied to a whole set of family arrangements: what time the class starts, who will pick up and drop off the child, whether it conflicts with school activities, whether asking for leave will deduct class hours, and where the make-up class will be held. Apart from classes, assignments, sports and temporary activities also need to be put into the same schedule.
For parents in charge of daily childcare arrangements, working out the class schedule is only the beginning. Time, cost, tasks and family labor division are interrelated. A single change may require re-coordination of all other arrangements.
Focusing on interest class management, Juanlemei has integrated in-school timetables, interest classes, family activities and class hour fees into a unified schedule management tool that supports shared arrangements among family members. On this basis, the team is connecting the AI assistant "Juanbao" to tasks such as data entry, query and class change, aiming to further reduce the operational burden on parents.
From managing a single class to getting a full picture of the whole family's arrangements
Juanlemei is a WeChat mini-program developed and operated by Hangzhou Maneng Technology Co., Ltd., which was launched in June 2026. The product initially focused on specific problems in interest class management: how to arrange classes, record class hours, handle leave requests and class adjustments, and how parents check remaining class hours and fee records. After launch, the team continuously optimized the experience of class scheduling, class record keeping and family collaboration based on actual user feedback from parents.
The product is prioritized for families with multiple interest classes, multiple children, or requiring multiple people to take turns picking up and dropping off children. The main users are parents who are responsible for daily arrangements, while grandparents and other caregivers can also participate in collaboration. For these families, what needs to be managed is not just "what classes are there today", but also who will pick up and drop off the child after a class change, how to calculate class hours, and how to take into account the arrangements of different children.
After entering class information, parents also need to continuously update subsequent arrangements according to school notifications, institutional adjustments and actual family situations. One leave request may lead to a make-up class, one class adjustment may affect the pick-up and drop-off plan, and the addition of a new course may also take up the original free time.
Centered on these changes, Juanlemei puts in-school timetables, interest classes, family activities, class hour accounts and pick-up & drop-off reminders into the same set of tools. Parents can view arrangements through daily, weekly and monthly views, and handle leave requests, class adjustments, postpone, make-up classes and cancellations around specific class sessions. Regular classes with fixed schedules can be arranged by cycle, classes with unfixed time can be entered by specific date, and temporary changes can also be associated with the corresponding single class.
Class hour and fee records are retained along with the courses. The number of attended classes, actual deducted class hours and remaining quota are recorded separately, and course renewal, course withdrawal and fee adjustment can be traced back. When checking a course, parents can not only see the follow-up arrangements, but also check the previous class hour consumption and fee changes, without the need to maintain a separate account book.
Family members can view or maintain the same set of arrangements under corresponding permissions. After the course is adjusted, other family members can also see the updated information; mobile calendar synchronization and WeChat reminders provide reminder methods outside the mini-program. For families that take turns to pick up and drop off children, the time, location and remarks can be viewed together with the arrangement, reducing the burden of repeated transmission.
As usage scenarios expand, the concerns of parents gradually go beyond a single course: when all the children are free, where is more suitable for an activity, whether the new arrangement will cause conflicts, and how much cost and time the family has invested in courses.
The team believes that what families need is not just to note down a certain class, but to clearly know the class hours, follow-up arrangements and family labor division even after the course changes. Compared with looking through group messages one by one, updating the timetable and account book separately, Juanlemei hopes to let all these tasks be completed around the same record. This is also the reason why the product extends from course management to family childcare collaboration.
Existing system handles rules, AI helps parents express their needs
As the number of things that need to be managed increases, the software also faces new usage burdens. Parents need to enter courses, organize notifications, maintain changes, and sometimes hope to supplement past course records. Information is scattered in timetables, screenshots and chat records, and sorting them out item by item takes time. New functions also mean more entries that need to be familiar with.
The entry point of the AI assistant "Juanbao" is exactly these operational burdens of entering and maintaining arrangements. Parents express their needs through text, voice or pictures, and Juanbao assists in understanding, querying and organizing operations. It uses the already saved records of courses, class sessions, members and schedules of the family, instead of asking parents to reintroduce the situation every time they have a conversation.
Technically, Juanbao is connected to an external large model, and the team's R&D focus is on the connection between family scenarios and business tools. The AI is responsible for understanding daily expressions, while course rules, access permissions and class hour fee judgments are still handled by the existing business system. When a record needs to be modified, parents are allowed to check the processing plan first before performing the corresponding operation.
For example, if a parent says "Help me apply for leave for Xiaobao's Wednesday basketball class", Juanbao first needs to find the corresponding child, course and class session. If there is ambiguity in the information, it will ask supplementary questions first; after the object is clear, it will display the processing plan and the impact on class hours, and perform the supported operation after confirmed by the user. The processing result can still be viewed on the original course page, and family members will also see the updated record.
To find free time, it is necessary to combine the existing courses and activities of the selected child to help parents view the time periods available for arranging new tasks. For families with multiple children, this means figuring out the arrangements of several children first, and then deciding where to place a common activity, instead of letting the AI modify the original timetable on its own.
Materials such as timetable screenshots are also one of the test scenarios. The team is verifying the entry method of identifying content first and then submitting it to users for check, hoping to reduce the work of filling in items from a blank form. For the sorting of past courses, it also hopes to reduce the operational cost of supplementary entry and check one by one.
These tasks require the cooperation of AI and existing software capabilities. What Juanbao needs to do is not only to answer "how the arrangement should be", but also to save the changes confirmed by parents into specific records. The existing course management and family collaboration capabilities not only provide a basis for AI to process tasks, but also make the results available for viewing and checking.
At present, the team has selected the first batch of users and is advancing the gray test of Juanbao. The test is carried out around real family tasks, focusing on whether the information is understood correctly, whether the confirmation process is clear, whether the operation result is consistent with expectations, and how to deal with blurry pictures, continuous follow-up questions or execution exceptions.
Expand childcare scenarios and explore family subscription services
Apart from interest classes, the team is also considering extending the existing schedule and family collaboration capabilities to scenarios such as homework tasks, sports arrangements and diet plans. These things have their own details, and also share some basic conditions: how much available time the child has in a day, what the existing arrangements are, which tasks require the participation of family members, and whether the new plan can be implemented continuously.
For example, when arranging sports time, it is necessary to consider the time after school and the interest class of the day; when arranging homework tasks, space should also be reserved for rest and other activities. Based on the existing course and schedule management, the team hopes to allow parents to consider related plans together around their children's life, study, health and sports, instead of maintaining a separate set of materials for each thing.
In the follow-up plan, Juanbao will act as a unified interaction entry to assist parents in querying existing information, sorting out needs and processing supported tasks. Each module needs to establish corresponding business capabilities, so that plans can be saved, executed, adjusted and reviewed. Relevant new modules are still in the planning stage, and will be gradually verified and launched according to specific needs.
In terms of commercialization, Juanlemei plans to take family membership subscription as the main path, and combine advanced functions and AI services into a family sharing package. Value-added services are planned to be designed around demands such as multi-child overall planning, course statistics, timetable and arrangement output, and Juanbao's auxiliary operations. What users pay for is the software and AI services that continuously manage family arrangements.
Taking the family as the unit is to adapt to the usage mode of multi-person joint care. According to this plan, parents in charge of entering arrangements and family members participating in collaboration can share relevant rights and service quotas under the same family account, without having to purchase tool membership and AI services separately. Advanced and value-added services are also planned to be gradually provided through Juanbao, so that query, operation and service usage are connected together.
This business model focuses on whether families are willing to pay for long-term elimination of repeated sorting and communication, rather than whether a single conversation can attract new users to try. For families that need to continuously handle class adjustment, make-up classes, course renewal and multi-person pick-up & drop-off, the course cycle itself will bring repeated usage scenarios. The team plans to carry out small-scale payment tests after internal test and reliability verification, and then clarify the official package combined with actual user feedback. The specific price and rights combination have not been determined yet.
In terms of user reach, Juanlemei already has entries such as timetable sharing and import, family member invitation and arrangement picture sharing. The in-school timetable sorted out by one parent can be imported by other families; family members can jointly view and maintain the schedule through invitation. The team hopes to let families with similar needs understand and use the product along these actual usage scenarios.
According to the team, the project originated from the problems encountered when arranging courses and pick-up plans for their own children. At present, Zhang Kun is responsible for product design, front-end development, user growth and external cooperation, and technical partners are responsible for back-end development and data-related work. The team uses AI to assist R&D, focuses on course rules, family collaboration, daily operation experience and the intelligent AI Juanbao, and hopes to connect cooperation resources related to family consumer applications, AI products and subscription services.
Starting from interest classes, Juanlemei is facing a continuous family work: arranging different matters around children well, and coordinating in time when changes occur. The existing product is responsible for keeping arrangements clear and handling changes well, and Juanbao tries to reduce the steps of entry, search and modification on this basis, so that parents do not need to spend more time on managing the tool itself.
