In the consumer electronics industry, the cycle of market trends usually counts by quarter. If a company sticks to its original product track for a long time, it can hardly keep up with technological iterations and demand changes on a sustained basis.
Facing the current industry status, UGREEN has rolled out new strategic adjustments. On September 12, UGREEN Technology held its global brand launch event in Xiamen, officially releasing its charging safety ecosystem and AIoT ecosystem products.
Starting from consumer electronics and now stepping into AI NAS, home intelligent agents and local computing power devices, UGREEN is exploring a core topic of universal significance across the industry: in the fiercely competitive and fast-evolving consumer technology sector, how can a company build long-term competitiveness that can survive through cycles?

UGREEN's starting point is the widely well-known charging and office expansion products. 36Kr learned on site that UGREEN currently has more than 300 million users worldwide. In 2025, UGREEN ranked first in global shipments of generalized expansion consumer electronics products; in the first half of 2026, its global creative charging product business saw a year-on-year growth of over 50%.
In recent years, the definition of "charging" across the entire industry is changing. Users' needs no longer stay at "fast charging", but shift to "safe charging and worry-free use". Subsequently, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology organized the formulation of the mandatory national standard *Safety Technical Specification for Mobile Power Supplies*, which was released in April 2026 with a 12-month transition period, and is known in the industry as the "strictest ever" mobile power safety standard.
UGREEN is also one of the drafting units of the new national standard. Its founder Zhang Qingsen stated in an interview that the new national standard is not a simple iteration, but an "exponential change", which has greatly raised the industry threshold in terms of safety and cost. Therefore, "not all enterprises will be able to produce power banks in the future".
From a vertical perspective, UGREEN has launched its "charging safety ecosystem", extending safety capabilities from a single product to multiple categories and scenarios, covering source safety, intelligent process protection, full-process quality assurance and digital safety visualization. From a horizontal perspective, AI NAS and AIoT represent UGREEN's horizontal breakthrough.
According to official data, in the first half of 2026, UGREEN's intelligent storage business recorded a year-on-year growth of over 85%; its AI NAS iDX series raised more than 8.8 million US dollars on the Kickstarter crowdfunding platform, ranking first in global crowdfunding in the NAS category. These figures show that UGREEN has built certain global recognition in the storage track.
In the interview, Zhang Qingsen described HomeAgent as the "hub of AIoT": it provides central storage and computing power, and shares the computing power with devices such as lamps, robot vacuums and 3D printers through protocols. This means that UGREEN is not satisfied with only manufacturing storage hardware, but tries to become a scheduling center for home local computing power.
The rationality of this idea lies in the fact that if most current AIoT devices are equipped with AI capabilities separately, the cost will be high and the idle rate of computing power will also be high, while centralized computing power reuse can significantly reduce the overall cost.
The MasterAgent unveiled at the launch event further reinforces this logic. As the world's first local AI intelligent agent storage device equipped with NVIDIA Jetson Thor T5000, it has a computing power of up to 2070 TFLOPs, and can run 122B large models locally. Combining Arm architecture CPU and NVIDIA GPU, UGREEN can flexibly configure the main control solution according to the performance requirements of different market segments.
Behind this is UGREEN's judgment on the trend of AI moving from the cloud to the edge and local ends: enabling AI to move from cloud-based tools to real scenarios such as home, learning and office.
At present, UGREEN's AIoT ecosystem product line has covered HomeAgent, MasterAgent, smart cameras, smart speakers, smart photo frames and other products. Zhang Qingsen explained the logic of this layout in the interview: taking the home scenario as the center, space perception requires "eyes, mouth and ears", which naturally derives home cameras, smart speakers and smart photo frames. When this system works in collaboration, it forms a home butler-style system, allowing users to access the system at any time and anywhere.
But UGREEN is also clearly aware that building a self-owned ecosystem cannot cover all scenarios. Zhang Qingsen made it clear that third-party ecosystems will be opened in the future, "all kinds of smart AIoT data such as smoke sensors will be added in", and more powerful computing power and AI capabilities such as translation, text-to-video and text-to-image will be introduced.
This open attitude is related to UGREEN's judgment on the NAS system: Zhang Qingsen believes that most of the existing operating systems are not designed for AIoT, while the NAS system is "the most compatible with AIoT", and has the first-mover advantage to enter the AIoT ecosystem.
