Puzzle Universe Solves the Fulfillment Pain Points of "Activity Buddy Matching" and Seeks Angel Round Financing

The online demand for "finding activity buddies" keeps rising, but the lack of transaction closed loop, difficulty in trust accumulation and challenges in large-scale replication have always been the core bottlenecks restricting the development of the industry. The Puzzle Universe project launched by Yunnan Pinda Technology Co., Ltd. has reached strategic cooperation with a leading online social platform, building an offline social event organization platform, trying to convert young people's online demand for "finding activity buddies" into payable and verifiable standardized offline event orders. At present, the project has completed the pilot verification in the single city of Kunming, and is launching the angel round of financing, planning to transfer 20% of the equity to raise 5 million yuan.

The Demand for Finding Activity Buddies Online is Real, While Offline Fulfillment Lacks a Closed Loop

When "you can find a buddy for any activity" has become a social slogan for young people, online social platforms have gathered a large number of potential playmates with the same interests in the same city, but the demand will face multiple obstacles when landing offline. Users are generally worried about the safety issues of stranger socialization, the risk of being stood up, and the awkwardness of expense settlement. The traditional WeChat group event organization relies on acquaintance relationships or manual matching, lacking transaction guarantee and credit constraints, which leads to the situation that "people chat enthusiastically online but feel awkward and estranged when meeting offline". Although there are many buddy groups on platforms such as Douyin and Xiaohongshu, most of them adopt the mode of charging group entry fees. The income of group owners depends on attracting new members rather than promoting event organization, and the platform is not responsible for whether users can really make an appointment with others after joining the group and whether the fulfillment goes smoothly. Public industry data shows that the domestic interest social market size has exceeded 100 billion yuan, and the annual compound growth rate of the offline social consumption track exceeds 30%. The demand of young groups for lightweight, interest-aligned offline social interaction continues to grow, but the market lacks a standardized service platform with transaction closed loop and credit guarantee.

Credit System and Transaction Closed Loop Build an Offline Event Organization Platform

Puzzle Universe and the leading online social platform have a clear division of labor: the cooperative platform provides accurate online traffic, social relationship chains and in-platform entrances; Puzzle Universe is responsible for offline merchant supply, event organization tools, group owner operation and fulfillment management. After users post social updates on the cooperative platform to express their intention to organize events, the system will identify and guide them to enter the same-city interest groups. The groups are divided into nine categories: drinking, dining, sports, DIY, board games, coffee, outdoor activities and others. When a group reaches 500 members, the second group will be generated automatically. Users can initiate events independently or sign up for others' events, select merchant packages, social time slots, meeting time and minimum number of participants, and publish the event card after payment.

The platform has established a complete credit score system, which cross-verifies users' online behavior data and offline fulfillment records. The credit score is displayed on the event card in advance, and the initiator can set the rule of "only users above V3 level are allowed to participate". The dynamic sincerity payment mechanism allows the initiator to set the prepayment proportion according to the credit level: the higher the credit, the lower the prepayment proportion, which not only reduces the risk of no-show, but also takes into account flexibility. In the fulfillment link, the system will automatically remind users to check in when they are 300 to 500 meters away from the destination. Once one party checks in, the other party will be notified in real time. If the user fails to check in 30 minutes beyond the system's judgment benchmark, it will be automatically judged as no-show. The no-show party will not get a refund and will be deducted 15 to 20 credit points, while the performing party can verify the order unilaterally or apply for a refund. The funds are hosted by Allinpay, and Ping An of China provides 24-hour social safety insurance. The funds will be settled to merchants only after the verification is completed. In terms of business model, the platform only charges merchants a commission of 5% to 8%, and does not charge users.

Kunming Pilot Verifies the Model and Launches Angel Round Financing

The project was officially launched in September 2025, reached a strategic cooperation with a leading online social platform in June 2026, completed the launch of version 1.0 in August of the same year, and launched the optimized and upgraded version in September. The core team is led by the founder with more than ten years of experience in local life entrepreneurship, who has managed a number of local commercial projects in Hangzhou, Wuxi and other cities, and is fully staffed with positions in marketing, operation, merchant management, technology and other fields.

The Kunming pilot has run through four core links: guiding users to join groups through social updates, signing up and paying for events in groups, merchant verification and platform settlement, and users sharing content to flow back to the cooperative platform. At present, 9 same-city interest groups have been established in Kunming, with an average of 500 accurate users per group, 500 cooperative merchants covering nine categories, and a part-time group owner operation system has been built. Based on the pilot data, the project predicts that the GMV in the next 12 months will grow from 150,000 yuan in the first month to 2.3 million yuan in the 12th month. This round of financing of 5 million yuan will be mainly used for the introduction of core talents, the promotion and operation of Kunming pilot, and the preparation for regional replication. The long-term goal is to start recruiting national city partners after the single-city model is stabilized, and build a young people's offline social consumption ecosystem covering core cities across the country.
