Fed up with the homogenization of cultural and creative products? Liao Xuetang, with two major disruptive academic achievements in hand, is committed to reconstructing the core of cultural tourism content from the source.
The domestic traditional culture track continues to expand, and the derivative markets related to *A Dream of Red Mansions* and *Classic of Mountains and Seas* each have a market space of tens of billions of yuan. However, the industry has long-standing pain points such as unresolved academic problems, homogenized cultural and creative content, and empty core connotations of cultural tourism projects. The Liaoxuetang project has two complete sets of subversive academic research independently completed by Liao Yihu, an independent scholar, putting forward brand new and complete explanations for the ancient geography of the Xia, Shang and Western Zhou dynasties, the author of *A Dream of Red Mansions* and all issues in the study of "Redology". The project has now completed all core academic research, and is seeking seed round financing to promote academic demonstration, IP incubation and industrial implementation.
Track Opportunities: Unresolved academic cases superimposed on industrial gaps, with original cultural assets featuring high scarcity
The consumer base of traditional culture is huge, and the group of enthusiasts of historical classics and classical literature is considerable, but there is an obvious gap between academic research and commercial transformation.
From the academic perspective, the handed down documents of the Xia, Shang and Western Zhou dynasties and domestic archaeological remains have long been difficult to corroborate with each other, the ancient place name system cannot match the geography of East Asia, and the academic circle lacks a complete interpretation framework that can integrate historical materials and archaeology. Since the beginning of Redology research a hundred years ago, there have been numerous hypotheses, and there has never been a closed-loop verification system covering all key disputes such as authors, prototypes, editions and creative backgrounds.
From the industrial perspective, the vast majority of cultural and creative and cultural tourism projects on the market are secondary adaptations based on existing public cultural materials, lacking exclusive underlying academic achievements as the core, resulting in serious product homogenization. Most cultural tourism projects have outdated story systems, making it difficult to create new cultural landmarks with public attention and unique recognition.
Against this background, projects with verifiable and systematic original academic achievements belong to the blue ocean of the track. The biggest differentiation of Liaoxuetang is that it does not engage in content editing and secondary IP processing, but holds two sets of underlying original research achievements, which has the potential to reshape the public's cognition of history and literature, thus deriving multiple commercial possibilities such as books, films, games and large-scale cultural tourism. There is no direct competing product in the track, and the project assets are uniquely irreplaceable.
Core Achievements: Two sets of closed-loop and verifiable theories, with one person making major research breakthroughs in two fields
All academic achievements are independently completed by Liao Yihu. The two major achievements have rigorous logic and self-consistent systems, which are not fragmented scattered viewpoints, and both have verification paths of document comparison and archaeological demonstration, which is also the core highlight of the project.
In the direction of ancient history and geography, Liaoxuetang proposes that the core activity area of the Xia, Shang and Western Zhou dynasties is located in eastern Siberia, and after King Ping of the Eastern Zhou Dynasty moved eastward, the tribes entered East Asia's China and brought the original place names along with them. According to this theory, there is no original corresponding relationship between the unearthed hoard bronzes and oracle bone inscriptions in China and the local unearthed sites. Relying on this theory, the project restores multiple routes recorded in *Classic of Mountains and Seas* and the westward travel route in *Biography of King Mu*, solving the long-standing core problem of dislocation between ancient place names and East Asian geography. If corroborated by the academic circle and archaeological findings, it will promote the re-construction of the entire historical narrative of the Xia, Shang and Western Zhou dynasties, and subsequent verification can be carried out through archaeological investigations in eastern Siberia and special academic conferences.
In the direction of Redology research, Liaoxuetang verifies and proposes that the author of *A Dream of Red Mansions* is Xu Xinggong, a native of Fuzhou in the late Ming Dynasty. This set of theories completely covers all core topics of Redology, including all major difficult issues such as authors, commentators, character prototypes, creative time and place, theme ideas and edition origins, forming a complete and self-consistent evidence chain, which may promote the re-interpretation of part of the history of Chinese literature.
The fact that the same scholar has completed a complete academic system in the two fields of ancient history and Redology at the same time naturally lays a foundation for creating a personal cultural IP. At present, the project is only promoted by Liao Yihu alone, and the research work has been completed, but the workload of academic discussion, achievement dissemination and industrial transformation is huge, and the overall promotion is slow due to the restrictions of manpower and capital, so it is urgent for capital intervention to amplify the value of achievements.
Commercialization Path and Financing Plan: IP first, releasing the value of long-term cultural assets at multiple levels
Liaoxuetang adopts the development strategy of "precipitating IP first, then realizing commercial implementation". In the early stage, it does not take short-term profit as the goal, prioritizes the completion of academic demonstration and popular science to the public, and then gradually releases commercial value.
Commercialization is divided into three paths. The first stage focuses on the construction of academic and content IP, organizes academic demonstration, outputs monographs, popular science content, lectures and seminars to build public awareness. The second stage develops the cultural and creative content business form, realizes book publishing, documentaries, films, games, theme exhibitions, stage plays, and supporting consumer products such as tea, wine and cultural and creative peripherals. The third stage implements large-scale cultural tourism physical projects, builds a brand new cultural tourism destination based on Guiyang, and reconstructs the cultural tourism narrative of Fujian relying on the new perspective that *A Dream of Red Mansions*, *Jin Ping Mei* and *Journey to the West* in the research conclusions are all written by Fujian literati. The ancient history research also involves the archaeological topic of eastern Siberia, which has the potential value of Chinese and foreign cultural exchanges. The long-term value of the project is huge and cannot be accurately quantified for the time being, and its target users cover a wide range of enthusiasts of classical literature, ancient history and traditional culture.
At the present stage, the team only has the core scholar Liao Yihu, and there is no commercial operation data, and the cultural tourism resources of the Guizhou and Fujian governments have not yet been deeply connected. After the financing is in place, the project will focus on promoting several key matters: organizing the academic circle to carry out demonstration and seminars on the two major achievements, launching the preliminary preparation for archaeology in eastern Siberia; expanding research assistants, content operation and business docking personnel; docking with local cultural tourism competent authorities to promote the publishing of manuscripts, popular science dissemination and preliminary planning of cultural tourism projects.
