AICRON participated in the production of "Golden Agent", which marks the first introduction of AI-generated content in South Korea's mainstream drama series | Early-stage Project

AI's involvement in traditional film and television production is no longer a novelty, but the final output is often relatively rough. A scene in "Golden Agent: True Colors Return" that is almost indistinguishable from real footage is narrowing this gap.

Adapted from the webtoon of the same name *Man's story*, this work was simultaneously broadcast on South Korea's SBS TV and Netflix, setting the viewership record for South Korean miniseries in 2026, and topping Netflix's global non-English TV series chart for three consecutive weeks.

One scene in which the protagonist stops the villain's convoy and engages in a fight is entirely produced by AI, including grand sequences such as car crashes and shootouts, as well as complex close-quarters combat movements.

Many netizens exclaimed after learning that this segment was produced by AI that it is hard to tell the difference between it and real shooting. There are still some details in this plot that do not conform to the laws of physics, but they do not affect the viewing experience on the whole.

AICRON is the tool and company that produced this content, founded by South Korean film and television production company MORPHEUS. To adapt to the current trend of AI film and television, MORPHEUS and South Korean cultural entertainment company NextPlay Entertainment.Ltd (abbreviated as "NPE") plan to establish a joint venture to increase investment in AI film and television centered on AI CRON.

AICRON is an AI video generation tool and platform that has integrated 150 large models including Seedance, Keling, GPT Image, Veo, covering more than 260 AI functions such as image, video, audio, text, and 3D vision, which are presented in the form of nodes throughout the entire production process.

Creators can freely call different large models on a single canvas to produce various contents and combine them as needed.

Compared with the low-price competition of many domestic canvas tools, AICRON puts more emphasis on usability, high degree of completion, and enabling ordinary C-end creators to produce film-grade outputs, such as the clips in *Golden Agent*.

LEE SOO YOUNG, the founder of AICRON, has more than 20 years of experience in the traditional film and television industry and rich experience in using AI. He is familiar with the characteristics, expertise and iteration of different large models at home and abroad, so the founder and other team members with similar backgrounds can integrate their industry experience into the tool workflow.

"For example, in the process of shooting a movie, placing the light source in different positions will produce completely different effects. People who can grasp and predict these differences usually need rich experience in the traditional film and television industry." LEE SOO YOUNG said.

The team has precipitated this kind of experience into multiple Agents and workflows, which allows users to call them according to their own needs, thus ensuring the completeness and professionalism of the generated content.

In addition, AICRON itself supports recording personal workflows. Users can customize workflows according to their own needs and save them as data assets.

In the founder's demonstration, after the user outputs their requirements on AICRON, the tool will generate character images, three-view drawings and videos according to the relevant requirements. During this process, it will automatically call dozens of large models that are most suitable for the requirements, and present this process in the form of lines between different nodes for users to view, modify and record.

This process of selection and retention is conducive to users' free creation and also constitutes the advantage of this tool.

At present, AICRON has three tiers of charging standards, among which the mid-tier plan costs 59 US dollars per month, corresponding to 4500 cron (which can be understood as points), and can produce about 30 minutes of video.

AICRON has also launched a solution adapted for team collaboration — AICRON Teams. On the basis of the function of precipitating data assets, it also has a "team dashboard" function, which allows users to clearly grasp the token usage and point consumption, and is suitable for teams such as advertising agencies and VFX (visual effects related) studios.

NPE, which has injected capital into AICRON, has LEE HONG DAE as its co-founder. He has been deeply engaged in the Chinese and South Korean film and television industry for decades and has rich experience in film and television production. NPE plans to establish a complete AI film and television production process, deploy across multiple fields such as theater movies and web dramas, and produce content including AI-native content and works that use AI to assist real shooting. In terms of movies, NPE has cooperated with Kim Sung-su, the director of *Spring in Seoul*, and Kim Seong-han, the director of *Hijack*, to develop AI film works, which are expected to be launched next year.

The attempts and investment in AI are the main reasons why NPE bets on AICRON. The content capability and IP reserve of the former can also feed back AICRON.

Overall, NPE is responsible for content planning, production and IP operation, MORPHEUS and AICRON provide AI tools and workflows, and OTT platforms undertake distribution and commercialization, which can cover the entire AI film and television production chain.

At present, AICRON's revenue sources are mainly AI film and television content contracting and tool subscription, each contributing 50% of the total revenue. The founder said that AICRON is expected to achieve a revenue of nearly 10 million RMB this year, and is expected to achieve 2-3 times growth in 2027.
