Three publicly offered REITs including the China State Construction rental housing REIT have been approved by the China Securities Regulatory Commission.
On August 18, the official website of China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC) publicized three approval documents for the registration of publicly offered REITs, which are respectively ShanZheng Jinzhong Public Investment Ruiyang Heating Closed-End Infrastructure Securities Investment Fund (heating assets), Ping An Xi'an Hi-Tech Industrial Park Closed-End Infrastructure Securities Investment Fund (industrial park assets), and Guotai Haitong China State Construction Rental Housing Closed-End Infrastructure Securities Investment Fund (rental housing assets).
ShanZheng Jinzhong Public Investment Ruiyang Heating REIT is managed by ShanZheng (Shanghai) Asset Management Co., Ltd., the term of the fund contract is 22 years, the total number of raised shares is 200 million, and the custodian is China Merchants Bank Co., Ltd.
Ping An Xi'an Hi-Tech Industrial Park REIT is managed by Ping An Fund Management Co., Ltd., the term of the fund contract is 40 years, the total number of raised shares is 400 million, and the custodian is Postal Savings Bank of China Co., Ltd.
Guotai Haitong China State Construction Rental Housing REIT is managed by Shanghai Guotai Haitong Securities Asset Management Co., Ltd., the term of the fund contract is 62 years, the total number of raised shares is 500 million, and the custodian is China Construction Bank Co., Ltd.
All three funds are contractual closed-end funds, with a total of 1.1 billion raised shares in total.
