The second part is about the halved purchase tax for new energy vehicles. Although this is somewhat reduced compared to last year's "full exemption with a cap of 30,000 yuan", it is still a considerable benefit.

This is also a welfare policy announced at the beginning of the year, which means that for eligible models this year, the purchase tax is calculated at 5%, and the tax reduction for each new energy vehicle does not exceed 15,000 yuan. For reference, the normal tax rate is 10%.

Vehicles that meet the requirements of this policy include pure electric, plug-in hybrid (including range-extended) and fuel cell passenger vehicles included in the reduction and exemption catalogue of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.

With the "trade-in subsidy" plus the "purchase tax reduction", the actual comprehensive discount for eligible new cars priced at 100,000 to 300,000 yuan ranges from 15,000 to 35,000 yuan.

If it is a new new energy vehicle released this year, with the purchase invoice price between 90,000 and 150,000 yuan, an additional 2000 yuan will be subsidized, and 3000 yuan will be subsidized for vehicles priced at 150,000 yuan or above;

What's more! Buying used cars in this region can also get a 1.5% subsidy based on the invoice price, with a maximum of 4000 yuan. This cannot be superimposed with the national subsidy, but it can effectively boost the used car market!

That's not all. Xi'an has also linked consumption in shopping, catering, accommodation and online platforms to this policy.

If you upload the car purchase invoice to the official voucher issuing platform, you can also get an additional consumption gift package of 1000 to 4000 yuan, which can be directly deducted in subsequent consumption payments.

Jingyue and Nanguan Districts in Changchun, Jilin have also issued millions of special automotive vouchers from August 15 to 31.
