Founded in 2023, Lovable grew out of the open-source project GPT Engineer, and later transformed into a visual tool that lowers the software development threshold for users through natural language interaction.
The advantage of Lovable is that it integrates a series of functions that users need to build applications onto its own platform, including Lovable Cloud for databases, storage and identity authentication, interfaces for model calls, custom domain names, search engine optimization and data analysis functions, and agent services that can be directly used inside applications, which enables users to complete the entire process from conception to building actual business on the Lovable platform.
In May last year, Anton Osika, co-founder and CEO of Lovable, revealed in an interview with foreign media that Lovable's goal is not to make engineers more efficient, but to help the remaining 99% of people who cannot program, so that they can also turn their ideas into reality.
Osika revealed on the social platform X that an employee of YouTube blogger Jason built an intranet system on the Lovable platform. Two years ago, it cost them $500,000 (approximately RMB 3.37 million) to build this system, but based on Lovable, they completed the system in only 4 hours, and the annual cost is less than $2,000 (approximately RMB 13,500).
The company announced the completion of $330 million (approximately RMB 2.225 billion) Series B financing in December 2025, with total financing amount reaching $550 million (approximately RMB 3.708 billion) and a valuation of $6.6 billion (approximately RMB 44.499 billion). CapitalG under Google and Salesforce Ventures under Salesforce are both its investors.
According to Lovable's official information, since the product was launched in November 2024, users have created more than 60 million projects relying on the platform, and the monthly visits of applications built via Lovable have exceeded 900 million. Today, employees of two-thirds of the Fortune 500 companies are using its platform. A Lovable survey found that more than one-third of its users have made profits by creating applications with Lovable.
Lovable's customers include well-known enterprises such as Adidas, NVIDIA, Deutsche Telekom. Osika revealed on the social platform X that Lovable's annual recurring revenue has reached 3 times that of last December. According to *The Wall Street Journal*, Lovable's current annual recurring revenue is approximately $600 million (approximately RMB 4.045 billion).

At the end of 2025, according to *Forbes* estimate, Lovable's two co-founders, Anton Osika (born in 1990) and Fabian Hedin (born in 1999), each hold about 24% of the company's shares, with a net worth of about $1.6 billion (approximately RMB 10.8 billion). At that time, Hedin became one of the youngest self-made billionaires in Europe.

The company revealed its three top priorities for the next stage:
First, optimize the Lovable platform to make it more intelligent.
They hope Lovable can understand users' goals and demands, identify pending tasks, and gradually achieve autonomous work without users issuing instructions. At the same time, it will carry out deeper interface docking to enable Lovable to deeply integrate with the existing technical architecture of enterprises, so as to facilitate teams to build fully functional and customizable data dashboards and workflows in multiple business lines such as sales, operation and marketing. The staff will also continuously strengthen the platform's security capabilities, operation stability, permission control and compliance management system.
Second, conduct system training based on the standards of successful cases.
Lovable mentioned that its goal is to ensure that products can be built correctly, and at the same time ensure that they can generate actual value, such as generating revenue, optimizing workflows or helping enterprises grow.
In the future, it will assign each task to the most suitable model to handle it, and continue to provide open-source models to make Lovable's experience more tailored to everyone's needs, backgrounds and working styles.
Finally, the company plans to recruit more talents.
Lovable plans to recruit about 450 new members, including professionals in the fields of machine learning, product development, infrastructure and security, and will expand its business in London, Boston, San Francisco and New York in the future.
Conclusion: Investment Enthusiasm in the Programming Track Remains High
Valuations of AI Startups Are Surging
For most people, turning an idea into software often requires a lot of capital, technical capabilities and time, so many ideas are never realized in the end. The product created by Lovable is intended to change this situation.
The track where Lovable is located has fierce competition, including US programming startup Replit, which reached a valuation of $9 billion after completing its financing in March this year. The rise in Lovable's valuation also shows that investors' enthusiasm for AI programming tools remains unabated.
