The digitalization project of Chinese cultural relics and intangible cultural heritage has launched financing, with huge potential to solve the pain points of the industry.

China's cultural relics and intangible cultural heritage industry is at a critical node of compliance value data digital transformation. With the in-depth advancement of the Digital China construction strategy, the contradiction between the huge demand for value release of massive cultural relics and intangible cultural heritage artworks and the weak existing industry infrastructure has become increasingly prominent. Against this background, the "Wutong Code™ Digital Encoding System Digital Museum Data Asset Project" launched by Wufu Wudaitang (Shenzhen) Digital Technology Co., Ltd. has officially launched its first round of financing, planning to complete an angel round financing of RMB 5 million from August to December 2026, with intended investors covering more than ten leading investment institutions such as Shenzhen Innovation Investment Group, ZhenFund, and BAI Capital. The project aims to build a nationally unified, tamper-proof 19-digit digital identity authentication system for cultural relics and intangible cultural heritage works through the self-developed digital identity encoding system for cultural relics and intangible cultural heritage works, solve the long-standing core pain points in the industry such as difficulties in right confirmation, authenticity verification and value tracing, make up for the defect that the blockchain "one object one code" only supports evidence storage but fails to realize universal interconnection, and block the channel where the original genuine product is stored on the chain while counterfeits circulate offline. It will realize the universal interconnection of five types of rights including property right, data right, copyright, equity and authorization through one single code, so as to promote the transformation of trillion-level dormant cultural assets from digital identity circulation to digital assets.

I. Prominent Industry Pain Points, Trillion-level Market Calls for Infrastructure Reconstruction

At present, the circulation field of Chinese cultural relics and intangible cultural heritage artworks is facing multiple structural problems, which seriously restrict the value release of cultural assets. In the field of state-owned museum collections, 4377 museums across the country operate independently, and the registration, management and numbering systems of nearly 50 million sets of cultural relics and collections are incompatible with each other, leading to persistently high management costs and low efficiency of asset revitalization. What is more severe is the private collection field, whose collection volume is several times that of the state-owned stock, but has never undergone systematic investigation and registration. A large number of privately collected cultural relics and artworks have objects but no certificates, and fall into the dilemma of "difficulty in right confirmation, authenticity verification and value evaluation" due to the lack of authoritative identity authentication, remaining in a dormant and lost state for a long time. In addition, the newly added overseas returned cultural relics and national-level intangible cultural heritage works also lack credible identity authentication and compliant circulation channels. The whole industry has persistently high transaction costs and difficult to improve circulation efficiency due to the absence of a credit system.

Although existing technologies such as blockchain evidence storage and traditional "one object one code" have been applied, they can only realize information recording in a single link, cannot establish a unified identification standard across institutions and regions, and are even more difficult to realize associated retrieval and dynamic management of cultural relics value information. Their limitations further exacerbate the industry's predicament. This technical defect makes the industry pain points unable to be systematically solved for a long time. Cultural relics are human cultural heritages, high-quality value-scarce assets protected by laws and regulations that cannot be regenerated. In terms of market scale, the potential total scale of the global cultural relics and intangible cultural heritage collections and their data digital assetization track is as high as 50 trillion yuan, of which the domestic serviceable market scale is about 50 trillion yuan. The Wufu Wudaitang Digital Encoding Digital Museum Project plans to capture a market share of 30 billion to 50 billion yuan within 3 years, accounting for 6% to 10% of the domestic serviceable market scale, showing huge market potential.

II. Technology Builds Core Barriers to Form a Full Life Cycle Management System for Cultural Relics

In response to the above industry pain points, the Wufu Wudaitang project relies on independent intellectual property rights, self-develops underlying data encoding algorithms, and builds a technical solution with the "Wutong Code™ Cultural Relics Digital Identity Encoding System" as the core. This technical system integrates high-precision data collection, multi-dimensional digital conversion, low-computing-power AI intelligent encoding algorithm verification and "five-in-one" authentication and evidence storage on-chain technology, forming data management capabilities covering the full life cycle of cultural relics including physical features, historical information, ownership changes, and restoration records. Its core advantage lies in the establishment of a nationally unified, tamper-proof and full-process traceable digital identity authentication standard for Chinese cultural relics and intangible cultural heritage works, which endows each cultural relic and intangible cultural heritage collection with a unique "standardized digital identity system" that can be universally recognized through one single code.

The key capabilities of this system are reflected in three aspects: first, the technology integration capability, which deeply integrates cultural relic identification information, material science analysis and modern data algorithms to ensure the unique correspondence between digital identities and physical features; second, the standard unification capability, which breaks down information islands between different institutions to realize cross-platform and cross-region identity mutual recognition and information sharing; third, the value association capability, which supports multi-dimensional evaluation and retrieval of cultural relic value through structured data models, providing a data basis for subsequent asset value tracing and financial securitization operations. Compared with the limitations of traditional auction houses and antique dealers that lack industrial transformation capabilities of technology, cultural and museum institutions that lack industrial financial capabilities, and digital collection platforms that have insufficient asset thickness, Wufu Wudaitang has built a full set of high-tech barriers covering gene sequencing, identity card issuance and household registration management for cultural relics and intangible cultural heritage works. Through the integrated model of "technology + industry + finance", it can realize the full life cycle flow management of cultural relics and intangible cultural heritage assets from right confirmation, valuation to circulation and securitization, and is positioned as an infrastructure provider and industry rule maker for cultural relics and intangible cultural heritage data assets.

III. Clear Business Model, Target Market Covers Multiple Entities

The business model of the Wufu Wudaitang project revolves around the data assetization service of cultural relics and intangible cultural heritage. By generating unique digital identity authentication, data asset registration, compliant right confirmation and circulation technical support for various cultural relics and intangible cultural heritage artworks, it charges users on the A side for technical service fees, data asset management fees and asset circulation commissions. Its target user group covers three core sectors: first, the G-side state-owned cultural and museum institutions, which help them revitalize collection assets by providing standardized encoding services, and improve the management efficiency of government-enterprise implementation scenarios with technical support; second, the C-side private collectors and non-state-owned museums, which assist in completing the right confirmation registration and value evaluation of collections, and open up the market application of compliant circulation channels in the industrial end; third, the B-side financial institutions, investment institutions and relevant parties of overseas returned cultural relics, which provide them with credible asset authentication and risk assessment data to support financial businesses such as investment and financing and asset securitization in the process of asset value appreciation and increment.

In terms of market space, the short-term goal is to raise 5 million yuan in the angel round by transferring 5% of equity, which will be used for data collection and Wutong Code digital encoding of the first batch of 1000 privately collected cultural relics, intangible cultural heritage works and overseas returned artworks, and simultaneously complete the legal DAC compliance verification, realizing 50 million yuan of assets with confirmed rights registered in the project's statements, including 100 million yuan of circulable physical assets recorded through evaluation and investment by partners, so as to consolidate the underlying value assets and become a small and medium-sized technology enterprise. The post-investment valuation of 200 million yuan is based on the dual asset valuation of data anchoring physical objects, rather than the PE price-earnings ratio valuation. The medium and long-term plan shows that the project will launch a 150 million yuan Series A financing in the first half of 2027, transferring 10% of the equity. The funds will be allocated in the proportion of 40% for R&D of digital museum data value assets, 30% for core technical team building, 20% for intellectual property legal compliance and security, and 10% for daily operation, accelerating the digital museum cluster project from the verification period standardization to the large-scale replication stage, and becoming a "little giant" enterprise. In 2028 and later, a 500 million yuan Series B financing will be launched, and finally within 3 years after the completion of the Series B financing, it will achieve IPO on the Sci-Tech Innovation Board or the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, or realize capital exit through asset securitization tools. With the gradual construction of the digital museum cluster matrix, according to the financial forecast, the project can realize profit from the circulation transaction of asset value increment in the second year, and the asset scale will exceed 10 billion yuan in the third year, with a clear growth path. The project plans to provide nationally unified digital information identity management services for more than 100 million Chinese cultural relics and intangible cultural heritage artworks, engage in the issuance and circulation of compliant and circulable cultural relics and intangible cultural heritage artworks' ontologies and digital identity cards (data assets), build an interconnected cultural relics and intangible cultural heritage data ecosystem, and grow into a unicorn enterprise.

IV. Profound Team Background, Smooth Project Implementation Progress

The core team of Wufu Wudaitang is composed of cross-field professional talents, forming a competitive advantage of deep integration of technology and industry resources. Zhu Jiasheng, the founder of the project, has dual educational backgrounds in Arts and Crafts major of Shanghai University and Computer Science major of Shanghai Jiao Tong University, and has the industry accumulation as a former cultural relic restoration researcher of the Palace Museum. He has compound capabilities in cultural relic identification, restoration, material science, digital museum data algorithms, and digital asset statement entry, which can effectively integrate industry resources and technical resources, cultivate compound echelon talents, and provide core support for the project's development. The core technical team has completed the construction of its own patent barriers to ensure the uniqueness and leadership of technical solutions.

In terms of project implementation progress, Wufu Wudaitang has made substantial breakthroughs. At present, the team has locked more than 10 cooperative LP property right parties, completed on-site authenticity verification of physical objects and confirmation of cooperation methods, and the first batch of right confirmation targets are clearly set as 1000 compliant and circulable non-state-owned collection cultural relics and artworks. At the technical level, data collection, digital conversion technology and Wutong Code encoding system have completed preliminary verification, with the conditions for large-scale application. The "five-in-one" authentication intellectual property on-chain evidence storage technology has realized the tamper-proof and full-process traceability of cultural relic information in small-scale tests, laying a technical foundation for subsequent large-scale data digital asset registration. With the arrival of the angel round of financing, the project will accelerate the construction of technology and asset base, gradually release the value potential of cultural relics and intangible cultural heritage data assets, and promote the cultural relics and intangible cultural heritage industry to enter a new development stage of digitalization and assetization.
