To be honest, the difference between the mobile end and the desktop end is very large. Unlike the desktop end where several generations of products can coexist harmoniously, the mobile end has the situation that different generations of products are very different from each other according to different demands.

However, if your demands are not just for games, you need to reconsider. Take mobile office as an example, from the 14th generation Core to the 3rd generation Core Ultra of Intel, the battery life of each generation has been greatly improved, and the performance gap in the unplugged state is very obvious. Moreover, the iGPU performance of the 3rd generation Core Ultra is also quite good, which can be said to be the most ideal CPU for thin and light laptops at present.

However, the models equipped with 3rd generation Core Ultra also have a problem, that is, they are too expensive. In addition, the CPUs with dominant multi-core performance are mainly the HX series at present, which has little to do with the generation.
