On August 7, Zhongke Huisi Embodied Intelligence (Hunan) Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Zhongke Huisi") made its debut for the first time in Changsha, Hunan, and released three dexterous hand products.

Zhongke Huisi was established in July 2026, co-founded by Beijing Zhongke Huiling Robot Technology Co., Ltd. (abbreviated as "Zhongke Huiling"), Lens Technology Co., Ltd. (abbreviated as "Lens Technology") and Hunan Huaxia Investment Group Co., Ltd. (abbreviated as "Huaxia Group").

The company is a technology enterprise focusing on dexterous hands and embodied operation capabilities. Taking dexterous hands as the product entry, it targets the construction of robot grasping, manipulation and operation capabilities, and is committed to promoting the development of dexterous hands from a single hardware component to an operation capability platform integrating software and hardware.

The three products released this time are designed for different task requirements. Among them, L1 adopts a lightweight, simplified degree-of-freedom product route, featuring high cost performance, high stability, long service life and easy deployment. The simplified degree-of-freedom configuration helps reduce control system complexity and product cost. The lightweight design can reduce the load on the end of the robot arm, and the fast opening/closing and response capabilities can meet the needs of high-frequency movements and continuous operation. In the CASBOT BAND robot band, the L-series dexterous hands have been applied to the performance of real musical instruments such as guitars, basses and electronic keyboards.

D1 is positioned as a high-degree-of-freedom general-purpose five-finger dexterous hand, featuring motion flexibility, independent multi-joint movement, multi-finger collaboration and tactile perception capabilities. M1 is positioned as a modular scenario-specific dexterous hand, designed around the operation requirements of complex scenarios. Through the modular architecture of "standardized main body + functional fingertips", it realizes rapid switching of different operation capabilities.

In addition, the F series is a pre-released product this time, which explores high degrees of freedom, bionic structures and compliant manipulation. Through the rope-driven bionic structure, it explores the high-degree-of-freedom compliant manipulation capabilities that are closer to the movement mode of human hands.

As the end effector for robots to interact with the environment, dexterous hands are becoming a key breakthrough driving the technological transformation of humanoid robots. The "2026 H1 China Dexterous Hand Industry Research Report" released by GGII (Gao Gong Industry Research Institute) shows that the sales volume of China's dexterous hand market in 2025 was about 19,200 units, a year-on-year increase of 236.84%; it is expected that the sales volume in 2026 will reach 70,200 units, a year-on-year increase of 265.63%.

However, industry competition still stays at the parameter level. At present, product evaluation in the dexterous hand industry mostly focuses on indicators such as degrees of freedom, weight, load, speed, accuracy and sensor configuration. These parameters are certainly important, but when humans complete fine operations, what really works is not just the number of fingers, but the comprehensive collaboration of hand structure, perception ability, force control and long-term experience.

For example, high degrees of freedom will not naturally translate into dexterous operation skills. The fact that a robot can stably pick up a screwdriver only means that it has the grasping ability; to truly complete the screwing action, it also needs to control the tool attitude, position, motion trajectory and acting force. Therefore, more attention should be paid to whether the robot can complete real tasks, moving from "grasping capability" to "manipulation capability", and then to "operation capability".

Focusing on the complete chain from hardware to data and then to skills is also the R&D logic behind the three products of Zhongke Huisi. It is understood that although Zhongke Huisi has not been established for a long time, its product and technical foundation comes from the R&D capabilities and scenario practice accumulated by Zhongke Huiling in the field of embodied intelligence for many years. Zhang Zhengtao, founder and chairman of Zhongke Huiling, said that after the establishment of Zhongke Huisi, the team will further productize and serialize these capabilities and experiences, so that different products can address the problems of general manipulation, high-degree-of-freedom manipulation and scenario adaptation respectively.

Hardware defines the upper limit of data, and data defines the value of hardware. The serialized ontology provides a unified and stable hardware carrier for data collection, and the continuously accumulated homologous data can in turn promote the improvement of model capabilities, manipulation skills and product performance, forming a mutual promotion between the ontology and data.

Therefore, based on the dexterous hand product matrix, Zhongke Huisi further proposed the dual flywheel development logic of "multi-series ontology × data collection". On the one hand, through serialized dexterous hand ontologies with different structures, different degrees of freedom and different application orientations, it provides a hardware foundation for complete robot machines, scientific research and development, data collection and scenario applications; on the other hand, it continuously accumulates dexterous manipulation data through data gloves, teleoperation equipment and data acquisition toolchains, so as to promote the iteration of models, skills and hardware.

At present, Zhongke Huisi has settled in Hunan Xiangjiang New Area, and announced to participate in the construction of a professional dexterous hand skill training ground to carry out data collection, skill training and application verification around real tasks.
