Convert military technology to civilian use, seek angel round financing for 3D printing supporting drying equipment

I. Prominent Gap in the Track: Import Dependence and Performance Shortcomings of High-end Environmental Test Equipment

The continuous upgrading of China's high-end manufacturing industry has brought dual development opportunities of domestic substitution and expansion of segmented markets to environmental simulation test equipment, which is a key quality supporting infrastructure in production and scientific research links. Scenarios such as 3D printing, precision dental processing, university laboratories, and military new energy parts testing have continuously rising demand for high-precision and high-stability temperature and humidity control equipment, but the industry has long faced the problem of mismatch between supply and demand.

There are two core pain points in the industry that are difficult to balance: imported high-end equipment is highly priced with long overseas delivery cycles, which brings huge cost pressure on small and medium-sized enterprises in procurement and after-sales services; the overall process standards of local similar equipment are relatively low, with insufficient stability in temperature control and dehumidification, which can only meet basic production requirements and cannot adapt to high-precision manufacturing processes. Among them, the drying of 3D printing consumables is a rigid demand that is easily ignored in the industry. Most enterprises use simple dehumidification equipment, and the consumables easily absorb moisture in the air, which directly leads to cracking of printed finished products and an increase in defect rate. There is a lack of professional and highly stable special drying equipment in the industry, and the segmented track is almost blank.

The core team of Chengdu Zakvia Technology has deeply participated in the large-scale military curing furnace project of Chengdu Aircraft Industrial Group, and has accumulated mature practical technologies in the fields of high-precision temperature control and continuous stable operation of equipment. After insight into the performance shortcomings of civil market equipment, the team entered the blue ocean track of 3D printing supporting environmental control relying on the mature military technology system, officially launched the R&D of related products in 2023, completed the industrial and commercial registration on August 28, 2025, and is currently launching the angel round financing plan, planning to raise 5 million yuan and transfer 20% of the equity for multi-dimensional expansion such as production capacity, R&D and market.

II. Dimensionality Reduction Application of Military Technology to Build a Multi-dimensional Differentiated Product Matrix

Zakvia transforms the control, dehumidification and structural design technologies that have been verified and mature in military projects into civil equipment, forming core technical barriers different from traditional products in the industry, and all performance indicators significantly exceed the general equipment on the market.

In terms of temperature control, the project is equipped with an adaptive fuzzy PID + feedforward compensation composite temperature control algorithm derived from military projects. Even if the equipment load changes dynamically, it can stably control the internal temperature field fluctuation within ±0.5℃, support 24-hour non-stop continuous operation all day long, and its temperature control accuracy and long-term operation stability are significantly better than the single traditional PID control scheme in the industry. Aiming at the core problem of moisture absorption of 3D printing consumables, the team independently developed active dual-mode dehumidification technology, built a composite system of dual-cycle condensation dehumidification with molecular sieve auxiliary drying, which can stably maintain the dew point in the equipment cabin below -20℃, solving the long-standing industry problem of traditional passive dehumidification equipment failing to dehumidify after opening the door and continuous moisture regain during the whole printing process.

On the structural side, the overall design of the equipment is optimized in accordance with the modular sheet metal manufacturing standards of the automotive industry. Compared with traditional equipment, the number of core parts is reduced by 30%, which supports on-site rapid assembly and stacking expansion of multiple equipment, can seamlessly connect with the manipulator of the automated production line, balances the needs of standardized mass production and personalized customization of customers, and breaks the industry pain point that the customization and large-scale production of traditional industrial equipment restrict each other.

Relying on core technologies, Zakvia has built four complete product matrices, all of which have completed R&D and design and are ready for mass production: covering the electric heating blast drying oven that guarantees basic cash flow, the 3DX series 3D consumable drying oven which is the exclusive core product in the track, the standardized modular industrial hot air oven, and the high-end high-low temperature three comprehensive test oven that breaks the monopoly of overseas brands. The products cover the full-level customer needs from small and medium processing plants to high-end military and automotive precision parts enterprises.

III. Release of Hundred-Billion Market Space, Multi-level Business Model Supports Long-term Growth

From the fundamental perspective of industry development, the overall market size of China's environmental simulation equipment reached 15 billion yuan in 2025, and the industry has maintained a double-digit compound growth rate all year round. The acceleration of domestic substitution, the outbreak of demand for special segmented equipment, and the intelligent upgrading of equipment constitute the three core growth logics of the industry. With the large-scale popularization of the 3D printing industry, supporting environmental control equipment has opened up a new incremental market, and the track has sufficient growth space.

Zakvia accurately locks in four categories of core target customers: large-scale 3D printing production farms, university scientific research laboratories, precision dental processing plants, military and new energy supporting enterprises, and auto parts manufacturers, and builds a three-layer profit model to ensure revenue stability and profitability. It builds a basic cash flow disk with standardized mass-produced equipment, increases the overall gross profit margin by relying on non-standard customized business, and realizes continuous long-term realization through the full-cycle equipment installation and maintenance and IoT remote monitoring subscription service. The comprehensive gross profit margin of the project is stably maintained in the range of 40%-50%.

The market promotion adopts a multi-channel parallel layout strategy: accurate customer acquisition on online digital platforms, in-depth cooperation with offline dealer channels, targeted in-depth attack on key large customers, and simultaneous planning of global overseas business layout. The online and offline sales channels are being steadily built and implemented.

The current angel round plans to raise 5 million yuan, and the fund allocation has a clear plan: 40% of the funds are used for the expansion of production lines and the construction of standardized workshops, 30% are invested in new product iteration R&D and patent intellectual property layout, 25% are reserved for market expansion expenses and daily working capital of the enterprise, and the remaining 5% are used for the introduction of high-end technical and market talents in the industry.

In terms of the team, the core founding members of the project are Tan Yichen, Cai Tong and Tan Zhao, who are responsible for market operation, electrical system design and overall structural design respectively, fully covering the whole business chain of the project. All of them have experience in collaborative R&D and implementation of military projects, with mature team cooperation and outstanding execution efficiency, providing core talent support for product implementation and channel expansion.

According to the four-year phased development plan, Zakvia will complete the production line implementation and realize small-batch production in 2026; improve the national core sales channels in 2027, with a target annual revenue of 5 million yuan; consolidate its leading position in the 3D printing supporting segmented track in 2028, achieving revenue of 10 million yuan and net profit of 4 million yuan; impact the annual revenue scale of 50 million yuan in 2029, with the revenue proportion of high value-added high-end products exceeding 50%.

Tan Yichen, the founder, said that the core value of the civil utilization of military technology is to solve the real pain points of the civilian manufacturing industry with the reliability of military-grade equipment, gradually break the long-term monopoly of overseas brands, and help the quality upgrading of domestic high-end manufacturing. The biggest difficulty for start-ups to develop segmented tracks is to build customer trust in products. The team will continue to take the measured performance data as the core competitiveness, steadily expand market share, and sprint for the leading position in the segmented track.
