Xinmeiguang launches its IPO, the "little giant" enterprise in the etching components sector is sprinting for A-share listing.
Recently, Suzhou-based semiconductor component provider Xinmeiguang (Suzhou) Semiconductor Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Xinmeiguang) has completed its tutoring filing, officially kicking off its A-share IPO journey.
As a national-level "Specialized, Refined, Differential, Innovative" (SRDI) "Little Giant" enterprise, Xinmeiguang holds core superconducting magnetic field MCZ monocrystalline silicon technology, entering the etched silicon component track where the localization rate is less than 10%.
Against the backdrop of the industry-wide push for self-reliance in semiconductor components, the capital advancement of this platform-based enterprise has drawn widespread attention from the industrial market.
01 Substantive Stage
On July 24, Xinmeiguang completed the listing tutoring filing registration with the Jiangsu Securities Regulatory Bureau, with Guotai Haitong Securities serving as the tutoring institution.
In June this year, the company successfully completed the shareholding system reform, transforming from a limited liability company to a joint-stock company in its entirety, marking that its IPO preparation has entered a substantive stage.
Looking back at its development history, Xinmeiguang settled in Suzhou Industrial Park in 2013. Its founder, Xia Qiuliang, has over ten years of R&D and management experience at Fairchild Semiconductor in the United States, and started his business targeting the "bottleneck" pain points of high-end etching components.
A long-standing shortcoming in the industry is that core silicon components for plasma etching are highly dependent on overseas suppliers, and the localization rate of domestic high-end products is still less than 10%.
In 2020, Xinmeiguang achieved a key technological breakthrough, successfully developing a 450mm semiconductor-grade monocrystalline silicon ingot with a purity of "11 nines", filling the gap in upstream raw materials.
From 2020 to 2021, Xinmeiguang acquired Suzhou Guanyunwei and its Malaysian factory to fill the gap in the electronic control system sector; in 2024, the construction of its headquarters project with a total investment of 1.9 billion yuan broke ground in Suzhou Industrial Park, continuously expanding its industrial production capacity.
On the capital front, Xinmeiguang's financing pace has continued to accelerate. In July 2026, it completed a D+ round of financing of approximately 1 billion yuan, led by Yuanhe Holdings, with participation from institutions such as Zhongping Capital, Yunfeng Capital, and BOC Asset Management.
The shareholder list features strong industrial characteristics, with leading equipment CVCs including Nuohe Capital under Advanced Micro-Fabrication Equipment Inc. China and Naura all participating as investors.
The transformation of customers into investors represents the most direct recognition of the enterprise's technical capabilities and delivery reliability from the industrial chain.
In terms of shareholding structure, the couple Xia Qiuliang and He Yamin are the actual controllers, holding a total of 28.51% of the shares. The stable shareholding structure provides governance guarantees for long-term technical R&D.
02 Full-Chain Layout
Different from the single processing model of most component manufacturers, Xinmeiguang is one of the few domestic platform enterprises that have opened up the full industrial chain of "super-large-size monocrystalline silicon material growth - precision micro-nano processing - cavity coating - equipment electronic control integration".
Xinmeiguang currently has four core businesses: monocrystalline silicon components, silicon carbide components, etching cavity surface coating, and electronic control systems for semiconductor equipment.
Relying on its self-developed superconducting magnetic field MCZ single crystal growth technology, the enterprise has achieved independent supply of upstream raw materials, and can provide a complete set of consumable component solutions for etching equipment of 7nm and below advanced processes, with products compatible with various etching processes for logic chips and memory chips.
Among them, monocrystalline silicon focus rings and silicon electrodes are core consumables for etching machines; silicon carbide structural parts have completed verification by leading customers and entered the stage of small-batch supply; the self-developed cavity coating technology can reduce the operation and maintenance costs of fab equipment.
Customer resources form a key support for the company's fundamentals. At present, Xinmeiguang's products have been introduced in batches to leading domestic etching equipment manufacturers such as Advanced Micro-Fabrication Equipment Inc. China, Naura, and Tuojing Technology, covering mainstream domestic wafer manufacturing factories, and the company also has the capability of overseas batch delivery.
Looking at the market, the global etching cavity consumables market is expected to reach approximately 4.8 billion U.S. dollars in 2026, with the mainland China market exceeding 110 billion yuan.
The iteration of advanced processes continues to increase the number of etching steps, and the increase in 3D NAND layers and the expansion of AI chip production capacity continue to drive the demand for silicon components and silicon carbide components.
A complete industrial chain layout brings unique competitive advantages.
Most domestic peers only focus on the mechanical processing of components and still purchase raw materials externally. Xinmeiguang independently masters the core single crystal technology, making it easier to control material purity, delivery cycles, and production costs.
It has greater synergistic advantages in the verification stage of advanced process components, and has also participated in the research and development of two major national-level R&D special projects.
03 Multiple Uncertainties
Semiconductor components are the foundation for the self-reliance of domestic equipment. Against the background of continuous advancement of complete machine localization, upstream consumables and components have ushered in a definite window for substitution, but the capital market still needs to rationally examine the multiple uncertainties in this track.
In terms of opportunities, the shipment volume of leading domestic etching equipment manufacturers continues to grow, and the demand for local supply chain security continues to rise. Although the certification cycle for component suppliers is long, once they are included in the qualified supplier list, customer stickiness will be strong.
With the continuous expansion of mature process production lines and the gradual implementation of advanced processes, the demand for etching consumables has long-term growth potential.
Xinmeiguang's integrated business model is in line with the one-stop procurement trend of equipment manufacturers, and is expected to continuously seize market share from overseas manufacturers.
Potential market risks cannot be ignored either. The semiconductor component industry has a strict customer access system, the certification cycle for advanced process products is very long, and there is great uncertainty in the large-scale implementation of high-end categories and the pace of performance release.
At present, overseas giants still firmly dominate the high-end component market. In addition, domestic peer enterprises are intensively deploying in this track and accelerating technological breakthroughs, so the industry's long-term competitive pressure will continue to intensify.
The semiconductor industry has remarkable cyclical characteristics. The contraction and fluctuation of capital expenditure of downstream fabs will directly affect the order and revenue stability of upstream component enterprises.
Coupled with the high investment in R&D iteration of high-end components and the large capital expenditure for production capacity expansion, the continuous expansion pace will continuously test the company's overall cash flow and operational stability.
Under the valuation framework of hard technology under the registration-based system, the core value of Xinmeiguang lies not in its short-term revenue scale, but in whether the full-chain technical barriers can be continuously translated into orders.
The company is currently at a critical stage of transition from technical verification to large-scale commercialization. The general trend of self-reliance in the component track is clear, but to survive through industry cycles, the enterprise still needs to continuously complete product iteration, production capacity ramp-up, and overseas market expansion.
After ten years of dedicated efforts to achieve independent material development, with continuous support from industrial capital, Xinmeiguang's IPO process is a microcosm of the rise of the domestic etching component track.
The subsequent impact of low-cost imported products, fluctuations in downstream capital expenditure, and the progress of advanced process verification will become the core variables that determine the long-term growth space of the enterprise.
