Love and Deepspace Accounts Across Multiple Platforms Halt Updates

Xiaomi Raises Smartphone Shipment Target, Most of the Increment Comes from Low-end Models

On July 21, Jiemian News learned from the supply chain that Xiaomi has raised its full-year 2026 smartphone shipment target from about 90 million units to 110 million units, with an increase of around 16%, and the newly added increment mainly comes from low-end models. A person close to Xiaomi told Jiemian News that this upward adjustment of the shipment target is based on Xiaomi's internal judgment that the current memory market is expected to usher in a reversal. Affected by the continuous short-term surge and rising cost of upstream memory chips, Xiaomi had lowered its shipment target twice this year. The above-mentioned person also said that the signal brought by Xiaomi's raised shipment target this time is that downstream manufacturers in the memory industry are no longer willing to pay for the continuously rising memory costs. When the tolerance of the demand side hits the ceiling, the momentum of price increase will likely reach an inflection point. (Jiemian News)
