Apple's direct stores in Beijing have joined the national subsidy program, offering a maximum discount of 2,000 yuan.
On November 28th, Jiemian News learned from the official Apple website that the latest information shows that Apple's direct-operated Apple Store retail stores in Beijing have officially joined the national subsidy program. Consumers can enjoy a maximum discount of 2,000 yuan when purchasing designated products. Take the latest version of the iPhone 17 256GB as an example. Its original price is 5,999 yuan, and it directly triggers a full-amount subsidy of 500 yuan. Consumers can purchase it for only 5,499 yuan, making it the flagship model with the highest cost-performance ratio under this round of policy.
According to Jiemian News' call to Apple's official hotline, relevant staff said that this subsidy is only applicable to Apple's offline direct-operated stores in Beijing. Consumers who place online orders need to consult the staff at offline stores for the specific process. According to the staff, previously, in August and September this year, Apple's offline direct-operated stores in Beijing and Shanghai both joined the national subsidy program. However, shortly after that, the subsidy activities in Beijing stopped, while Shanghai has been participating in the subsidy.
Currently, only Apple's offline direct-operated stores in Beijing and Shanghai participate in the national subsidy across the country.
The official website information shows that the scope of this national subsidy policy is extensive, covering not only mobile phones but also all Apple digital devices such as iPads, Apple Watches, and Macs. Eligible consumers can enjoy a 15% national subsidy on top of the final price when purchasing participating iPhones, iPads, and Apple Watches. The subsidy for each item does not exceed 500 yuan, and it is only applicable to single items with a final price of no more than 6,000 yuan. When purchasing participating Macs, consumers can enjoy a 20% national subsidy on top of the final price, with a maximum subsidy of 2,000 yuan per item. The policy also reminds consumers that the scope of products participating in the national subsidy program may be adjusted due to policy requirements and other reasons. The actual subsidy amount is subject to the display on the product purchase page.
It is worth noting that except for Apple Macs, single items with a unit price of over 6,000 yuan, such as iPhones, iPads, and Apple Watches, do not participate in this subsidy.
In addition, orders participating in the national subsidy do not support simultaneous purchase with the iPhone Upgrade Program, Apple Trade In Program, or AppleCare+ Service Plan. Orders participating in the national subsidy do not support partial refunds, exchanges, or price protection.
The policy also requires that consumers participating in the activity at Apple Store retail stores in Beijing and Shanghai must present their IDs and provide their names to issue invoices with personal real-name information as required. In addition, consumers participating in the activity at Apple Store retail stores in Beijing must enter personal information such as their ID numbers and mobile phone numbers to verify that the consumer and the subsidy recipient are the same person and to bind the subsidy eligibility. Such information is collected and processed by Beijing Branch of UnionPay Business Payment Co., Ltd.
It should be noted that for orders at Apple Store retail stores participating in the national subsidy, consumers need to cooperate with the staff at the store to complete on-site unpacking, activation, and photo archiving as required by the national subsidy policy after purchase. If consumers cannot complete the activation or cooperate with photo archiving on the spot of purchase, they will not be able to enjoy the national subsidy.
Apple's newly launched iPhone 17 series this year is very popular. Data from market research firm CounterPoint Research shows that in the first month after the launch of the iPhone 17 series, Apple's mobile phone sales in some markets increased by up to 22%, while the overall global smartphone market declined by 2.7% during the same period. In the Chinese market, iPhone sales accounted for a quarter of the total mobile phone sales in October, with 80% of the sales coming from the new iPhone 17 series.
