36Kr learned that recently, Black Sesame Intelligence officially launched the SesameX Multi-dimensional Intelligent Computing Platform for the robotics industry. This is the industry's first exclusive deployment platform for robot commercialization.
Currently, the SesameX platform has taken the lead in collaborating with partners such as Xingcheng Intelligence, Shentingji, Yun Shenchu, and Lingyu Intelligence to achieve commercial deployment. The relevant achievements have been applied to various products such as logistics vehicles, quadruped robots, and wheeled robots.
Looking back at history, Black Sesame Intelligence's business started in the field of intelligent vehicle chips. Since 2020, the company has participated in the entire process from the design to mass production of multiple intelligent driving chips.

According to the introduction, Black Sesame Intelligence's SesameX platform adopts a multi-layer architecture. The bottom layer is a computing platform, which includes three self-developed modules: Kalos, Aura, and Liora; the middleware layer is responsible for scheduling and coordination; the third layer, the atomic application layer, is divided into task models and atomic models, enabling robots to upgrade from "program executors" to "skill learners."
The three core modules correspond to different intelligence levels:
Kalos: Aimed at wheeled robots for food delivery, inspection, etc., it is a "cost - effective" model for basic vision and motion control.
Aura: Suitable for robotic arms, multi - legged robots, etc., with stronger computing power and multi - modal perception capabilities.
Liora: Suitable for humanoid robot design, supporting end - to - end decision - making and multi - task processing, with the highest computing power.
This architecture provides a full - stack solution from basic control to advanced cognition for various robot scenarios through hierarchical collaboration.
Currently, Black Sesame Intelligence has reached a strategic cooperation with Joyson Electronics. The two parties will focus on the robotics field and plan to launch the head assembly and domain controller of embodied robots based on the SesameX computing platform in the future.
At the same time, Black Sesame Intelligence has also reached a strategic cooperation with Hubei Huazhong Electric Power Technology Development Co., Ltd. to jointly explore the application of embodied robots in the power industry.
