36Kr has learned that XDream Robotics (Shanghai Chimeng Technology) has successfully completed multiple rounds of financing. The investors include GL Ventures, Zhipu Robotics, Houxue, and other institutions. The company was founded in September 2025 and secured tens of millions of RMB in financing just two months after its establishment. Gao Hu Capital served as the exclusive financial advisor.

The funds from this round will mainly be used for the product research and development of the XDream series of companion robots and team building.

The first product of the XDream series can be used both indoors and outdoors. It has high emotional intelligence and basic language interaction capabilities, and can understand users' emotions without relying on complex instructions. The underlying logic of the product is that Chimeng Technology believes that only intelligent agents with a sense of life can establish deep emotional connections with humans and evolve from tools to partners accepted by users.

To achieve the "emotional intelligence" and "sense of life" of the robot, the technical principle of XDream is to build a "digital brain" based on the information processing mechanism of the human brain in perception, memory, and reasoning.

Specifically, this algorithm system simulates the architecture of the human brain's information processing process, and maps the data received by the robot to the "fast brain/slow brain" hierarchical and sequential memory: the fast brain is responsible for instinctive reflexes, while the slow brain undertakes reasoning and weighing, and actions are executed by superimposing the robot's own personality, emotions, and memory.

The algorithm enables XDream's companion robots to have internal drive, continuous curiosity, and natural and smooth diverse anthropomorphic interaction capabilities. This makes it not just "passively respond" like most current AI companion hardware, but able to "actively think" like a living being.

The core members of Chimeng Technology include cognitive science experts from top global universities and a robot hardware team.
