Yingke has learned that Wuxi CoreField, a full-stack real-time intelligent control chip design company in the industrial and robotics fields, has recently completed a Series A+ financing round, raising nearly 100 million yuan. This round of financing was led by Waniu Capital, with participation from Urban Investment, Xiying Fund, and existing shareholder Guolian Xinchuang. Xingtang Capital served as the financial advisor. The funds raised will be mainly used to accelerate the R & D iteration of multiple core chips, expand production capacity, and deeply explore the customer markets in the industrial and robotics sectors.
Founded in 2019, Wuxi CoreField focuses on chip R & D in three major directions: industrial control, high-speed interconnection, and heterogeneous computing. The company adopts a full-stack real-time control and management technology route, covering the complete data flow from sensing, transmission, processing to control. It provides domestically controllable chip solutions for industries such as industrial automation, robotics, and automotive electronics.
Currently, driven by the wave of Industry 4.0 and AI intelligence, the demand for real-time communication, high-precision control, and multi-modal data processing in industrial systems has increased significantly. Especially in the fields of industrial Ethernet, PCIe switch chips, DSP chips, and edge computing, the domestic market has long been dominated by international manufacturers such as Texas Instruments (TI), Broadcom, Siemens, and Beckhoff, with a very low localization rate. In response to the above industry pain points, Wuxi CoreField has gradually built three core product lines around four major technical directions: real-time control, sensing processing, edge computing, and high-speed communication: PCIe switch chips, industrial Ethernet chips, and real-time intelligent computing chips. Yingke has learned that among them, the PCIe 3.0 switch chips have been delivered in batches, and the R & D of versions 4.0 and 5.0 is being continuously promoted. In terms of industrial Ethernet chips, the company has the core technology of software-defined networking, which can support various mainstream industrial real-time Ethernet networks, including PowerLink, Profibus, EtherCat, Profinet, etc.
Currently, the company has achieved mass customer adoption of its EtherCAT slave control chips.
