On October 22, the signing ceremony of the 2025 Ningfu New Energy Large Cylindrical Battery Project and the Partner Conference with the theme of "Ningfu Core, Joint Chain, Shared Fluorine Future" were held in Nanning, Guangxi. At the concurrent Fluorine Core Battery New Product Launch Conference, Ningfu New Energy officially launched a new generation of all-pole tab "Fluorine Core" large cylindrical battery series products globally.
This series of products precisely targets four major application scenarios, namely electric vehicles, automotive start-stop batteries, light vehicle operation batteries, and mobile and household energy storage, providing customized energy support for different fields.
It is understood that currently, the domestic market for small power, small energy storage, and short-range electric vehicles, which is widely covered by 20 - 100Ah batteries, generally suffers from common problems such as high self-discharge, short calendar life, low input-output efficiency, and high structural safety risks due to the disordered products in the industry, unstable reliability, and inconsistent technical routes.

From the 40 series, 46 series to the 60 series and 65 series, Do-Fluoride offers the most advanced products in each market segment. Advanced Technology, Minimalist Manufacturing, Three Generations of Patent Iterations, Do-Fluoride Redefines the 20 - 100Ah Battery Market
Reliability is the lifeline of power batteries. One of the core advantages of the Fluorine Core large cylindrical battery stems from the "integrated cutting" electrode sheet technology used in large cylindrical batteries. According to Xu Fei, the "integrated cutting" electrode sheet technology can achieve the shortest total cutting perimeter of electrode sheets under the same capacity. Combined with the edge-coated ceramic technology, it further suppresses the risk of burrs. Compared with laminated batteries and batteries produced under the multi-cutting mode, it greatly improves the safety and consistency of the products and performs better in reliability control.
"Under the same capacity, the total cutting perimeter of the electrode sheet edge of our large cylindrical battery is the shortest among all battery forms. A shorter cutting path means fewer potential burr generation points," said Xu Fei.
In the manufacturing process, the Fluorine Core large cylindrical battery adopts integrated coating, rolling, and cutting, combined with direct winding of all-pole tabs, which greatly simplifies the production process. Xu Fei emphasized that this not only improves the manufacturing efficiency but also significantly reduces the overall manufacturing cost, giving us an obvious advantage in large-scale mass production.
Although large cylindrical batteries have become a hot topic in the industry, there are still significant differences in the solutions and technical levels of different manufacturers. For example, the inherent problems of mechanical sealing and the complexity of the double-sided output structure may bring huge challenges to performance and cost, and even affect safety.
Do-Fluoride has successfully solved problems such as complicated processes, rusting, and liquid leakage through the minimalist and reliable single-sided structure of the aluminum shell. This design simplifies the welding process, further improves safety and reliability, and at the same time achieves better cost control.
According to Xu Fei, Do-Fluoride's large cylindrical battery has undergone three generations of technological iterations, achieving comprehensive optimization in battery performance, reliability, safety, and cost control. Currently, the product has achieved full-capacity mass production at the two bases in Jiaozuo and Nanning and has been granted 80 patents, forming an independently controllable technology system.
At the end of the technology release session, Xu Fei summarized the core advantages of Do-Fluoride's third-generation all-pole tab large cylindrical battery: it has a "two-way explosion-proof" structure, achieving the safety goal of "zero failure"; the single-sided busbar design significantly reduces the PACK manufacturing cost by 18%; combined with the new CTC structure, the grouping rate is increased by 15%, further consolidating its position as the "king of cost-effectiveness" among power batteries.
Comprehensively Covering Four Major Application Scenarios, Fluorine Core Battery Breaks the Industry Pattern
The domestic 20 - 100Ah batteries have a wide range of application scenarios. At this launch conference, the Fluorine Core battery precisely covers four major application scenarios, namely electric vehicles, automotive start-stop batteries, light vehicle operation batteries, and mobile and household energy storage, providing customized energy support for different fields.
First, the 60/65 structure large cylindrical products launched for the mainstream 300 - 400km electric vehicle market have the characteristics of "universal adaptation, durability, and never catching fire". They can achieve one-cell multi-configuration, meet the assembly requirements of different system structures, and have good compatibility.
The battery cells use a modified lithium iron phosphate material system. By micro-regulating the distribution of primary grains, the ion diffusion coefficient is increased, and the cycle life is strong. The system grouping can meet the vehicle's usage requirements of at least 10 years and 250,000 kilometers. Xu Fei said that this is "the best choice for new energy vehicles with a range of about 300 - 400 kilometers".
In terms of safety, the Fluorine Core battery adopts a double-sided explosion-proof design and integrates a thermoelectric separation structure in the system to ensure the stability of high-voltage connections. At the same time, a special smoke exhaust channel is designed. The efficient CTC structure also has a high-strength structure, realizing the safety commitment of never catching fire.
The second product is specially designed for the start-stop power supply application scenario. Using Do-Fluoride's Fluorine Core large cylindrical battery, it can achieve one-key start at -40°C, 500,000 start-stop cycles without worry, and safe start-stop with zero thermal runaway. "We aim to implement the new generation of all-pole tab cylindrical solution in all vehicles, whether they are new energy vehicles or fuel vehicles," said Xu Fei.
For extremely cold working conditions, the Fluorine Core battery has developed special fluorine-containing additives to improve the characteristics of the negative electrode SEI and the electrolyte solvent, optimizing the ionic conductivity and SEI impedance at low temperatures. Even at -40°C and low SOC, it can still achieve "one-key start".
In addition, the product has also built a 3D conductive network to create high-speed channels for ions and electrons, improving the large-current cycle life and supporting more than 500,000 start-stop cycles. It also meets the coupling test under different extreme abuse conditions, and the battery remains "zero thermal runaway" under extreme conditions, ensuring the safety of the start-stop system throughout the process.
The third product is targeted at household and mobile energy storage, using a 72V70Ah large cylindrical high-voltage platform to improve the charging and discharging efficiency and system compatibility.
Currently, in the 5 kWh stacked household energy storage market, the industry generally uses the "low-voltage high-capacity" solution of large-capacity square batteries (100 - 314Ah). "Firstly, the charging and discharging efficiency is low. Secondly, the heat generation is high. Long-term use of high current and low voltage also brings great safety hazards," said Xu Fei. The 5 kWh household energy storage product launched by Do-Fluoride this time has well solved the above problems by increasing the voltage and reducing the current.
The fourth product is targeted at light vehicle/swapping scenarios, specifically in applications such as new national standard electric bicycles, electric mopeds, leisure tricycles, and battery swapping. Do-Fluoride's large cylindrical batteries meet various different scenarios and correspond to different product strategies.
For the 48V24Ah new national standard battery pack of new national standard electric bicycles, the double explosion-proof valve design of the battery + the specific smoke exhaust channel design of the module + the metal outer casing ensure the safety and reliability of the system in case of thermal runaway. At the same time, the three-dimensional fixing of the module and the box makes the battery pack resistant to vibration, impact, and dropping, and more structurally stable; the double-gel sealing structure of the box cover and the box body provides better IP67 waterproof protection. In various extreme abuse tests, including the conditions of coupling multiple scenarios and triggering two batteries simultaneously, the battery pack ensures never catching fire.
For the 64V45Ah and 72V40Ah battery swapping packs in the battery swapping and operation fields, Do-Fluoride uses lithium iron phosphate or lithium manganese iron phosphate to replace the traditional ternary batteries of electric motorcycles, improving safety and reducing costs. In terms of structural design, the metal box is resistant to rough handling, the double-gel sealing is resistant to wind and rain, and with triple protection, the battery pack will never catch fire. In terms of product size, the entire terminal battery swapping cabinet has a unified standard size, which is unified to 64V and 72V according to the new electric motorcycle standard, suitable for electric motorcycle battery swapping and tricycle scenarios.
