The first company in the humanoid robot sector secures the world's largest single order.

According to a report by Zhidx on July 21st, recently, as shown on the China Public Procurement Service Platform, UBTECH won the bid for a robot equipment procurement project worth 90.5115 million yuan from Miyi (Shanghai) Automotive Technology Co., Ltd. As of now, this is the project with the largest winning bid amount for UBTECH and also the single largest winning bid amount for a global humanoid robot enterprise.

Miyi Automotive is a state-owned joint-venture enterprise jointly established by Shiyan Economic and Technological Development Zone Construction and Investment Group (government state-owned assets), Shiyan Lin'an Operation and Management Co., Ltd., and Shanghai Liangao Exhibition Group. It mainly exports a full range of Chinese-made automobiles globally, with its business covering new cars, used cars, and key automobile parts. It has a brand called MIEE.

As the "first stock in the humanoid robot field", UBTECH opened at HK$90.25 per share today, with a total market value of HK$39.5 billion.

As of now, UBTECH has won the bid 74 times, with a total winning bid amount reaching 246 million yuan. Apart from this winning bid project, the highest amount of UBTECH's previously won bid projects was 72.995 million yuan, and the amounts of most of the other winning bid projects were less than 1 million yuan.

Previously, there had been projects in the humanoid robot field with a combined winning bid amount exceeding 100 million yuan. On July 11th, Zhipu Robotics and Unitree Technology jointly won the bid for the procurement project of humanoid biped robot OEM services from 2025 to 2027 of China Mobile (Hangzhou) Information Technology Co., Ltd., with a total bid package of 124 million yuan. Specifically, Zhipu won 78 million yuan (including tax), and Unitree won 46.05 million yuan (including tax).

On July 17th, UBTECH released a demonstration video of its new-generation industrial humanoid robot, Walker S2, which features the world's first "hot-swappable autonomous battery replacement system". This allows the robot to replace its battery autonomously within 3 minutes without manual intervention or shutdown. It also plans to deliver 500 units of industrial humanoid robots to the intelligent manufacturing industry this year.

It is worth mentioning that UBTECH's Walker S has previously entered several leading automobile enterprises such as Dongfeng Liuzhou Motor and Geely, responsible for tasks such as product inspection, oil filling, and material collection and inspection.

On July 13th, UBTECH announced that its 172cm full-size scientific research and education humanoid robot, Tianggong Xingzhe, jointly launched with the Beijing Humanoid Robot Innovation Center, is expected to have a delivery volume of over 300 units this year.

In June, Zhou Jian, the founder, chairman of the board, and CEO of UBTECH Robotics, publicly stated, "This year is an important stage for the mass production of humanoid robots. UBTECH plans to have a production capacity of 1,000 humanoid robots in 2025, with an expected delivery of several hundred units. In 2025, if everything goes smoothly in various scenarios, it is optimistically estimated that the delivery of humanoid robots will reach several thousand units in 2026, and it is expected to achieve a delivery of ten thousand units in 2027."
