This competition gathered nearly 900 participating wines from nearly 200 top wineries in China. The professional jury consisted of 27 world - class wine experts, including 10 Master of Wine (MW), 3 Master Sommelier (MS), and 1 industry expert with dual certifications of Master of Wine and Master Sommelier.
Finally, Renyiyuan Winery in the Helan Mountains of Ningxia became the biggest winner. Its "Renyiyuan Dao Cabernet Sauvignon 2020" won four honors: "Best Chinese Wine of the Year", "Best Red Wine", "Best Ningxia Wine", and "Best Cabernet Sauvignon".
