The Special Promotion Conference of China International Consumer Products Expo was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

On December 4, a special promotion conference for the China International Consumer Products Expo, hosted by the People's Government of Hainan Province and organized by the Hainan Bureau of International Economic Development, was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The theme of this promotion conference is "Sharing Open Opportunities and Creating a Better Life". Liu Bin, Assistant Minister of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China, Ni Qiang, Member of the Standing Committee of the Hainan Provincial Party Committee, Secretary-General, and Director of the Office of the Working Committee of the Hainan Free Trade Port, Han Chancai, Ambassador of Thailand to China, Xie Shengwen, Ambassador of South Africa to China, as well as relevant enterprise representatives such as CP Group, Nestle, Siemens, trade promotion institutions, and business association leaders attended this promotion conference.

In his congratulatory letter to the first China International Consumer Products Expo, General Secretary Xi Jinping pointed out: "Holding the Consumer Expo provides a global platform for the display and trading of high-quality consumer products, which is conducive to sharing the Chinese market opportunities by countries around the world, conducive to the recovery and growth of the world economy, and also conducive to China providing more high-quality consumer products to the world."

Today, the China International Consumer Products Expo (hereinafter referred to as: the Consumer Expo) has been held for four consecutive sessions. In this special promotion conference, all parties deeply discussed the potential and future of win-win cooperation of the Consumer Expo, injecting new vitality and impetus into economic development.

At the event site, Ni Qiang, Member of the Standing Committee of the Hainan Provincial Party Committee and Secretary-General, said in his speech: The Consumer Expo has become the largest consumer products exhibition in the Asia-Pacific region, a global gathering place for high-quality consumer products, and a benchmark for the consumer market.

It is worth mentioning that, as an important window connecting the domestic market and the overseas market, the "1 + N" island-wide exhibition model pioneered by the Consumer Expo conducts vertical segmentation for popular tracks, breaking the traditional limitation of a single venue. The new ecology and new scenarios effectively connect the high-quality resources in various parts of Hainan, complete the supply and demand matching efficiently, and enhance the economic potential. Han Chancai, Ambassador of Thailand to China, mentioned: "The trade volume between Thailand and Hainan has been steadily increasing, reaching more than 300 million US dollars in 2023."

In addition, relying on the preferential policies of the Free Trade Port, from tax reduction and exemption to trade facilitation, from financial support to market access, the Consumer Expo creates a virtuous cycle of mutual promotion between consumption and investment by building the "Consumer Expo +" industry, promoting industrial development. As the "ballast stone" for the stable operation of the economy, in the context of many uncertainties in the global economy, it is not difficult to see that the Consumer Expo has become an important source of new momentum for the Chinese economy, contributing a force that cannot be ignored to the recovery and development of the global economy. Just as Wang Guangzhi, Assistant Director of the Hainan Bureau of International Economic Development, said: (The Consumer Expo) creates opportunities for global enterprises to share the Chinese market and for Chinese enterprises to go global.

The fifth China International Consumer Products Expo will be held in Hainan from April 13 to 18, 2025. Here, Hainan also extends a sincere invitation to all sectors to come to Haikou to participate in the fifth China International Consumer Products Expo, share the new opportunities of the era, and jointly open a new chapter of cooperative development.
