36Kr has learned that Jiangsu Tianqi Industrial Environmental Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Tianqi Technology") has announced the completion of a 70 million yuan Pre-A round of financing. This round of financing is led by Xiaoxiang Capital, with Lanhe Capital and Zhongshi Capital participating, and Chuhong Capital serving as the financial advisor for this financing. The funds from this round of financing will be mainly used for technological research and development and industrialization.
Tianqi Technology was established in 2017 and is a company focused on the research and development of vibration suppression alloy metal material technology. It mainly addresses the vibration and noise problems in the industrial environment field and provides metal vibration suppression solutions for customers. Tianqi Technology's vibration suppression alloy materials currently have two types, which are applied in the fields of rail transit, precision mechanical processing, automobiles, nuclear power, aerospace, ship equipment, and human-machine engineering.
Vibration and noise have an important impact on the stability and lifespan of mechanical equipment. In the international market, vibration and noise have been listed as one of the important indicators of product quality. Especially in military applications, the problem of vibration and noise has become one of the key difficulties that need to be overcome in the development of weaponry and equipment. Currently, the commonly used damping alloy materials in the industry are limited by many conditions such as frequency, while the vibration suppression alloy, due to its special design of the twinned twin crystal structure, surpasses ordinary metal damping in performance.
"For a long time, due to trade protection, vibration suppression alloys have been internationally embargoed materials. In fact, we have broken this embargo and become the fourth country after Japan, the United States, and the United Kingdom that can mass-produce this material," introduced Lu Bin, the chairman of Tianqi Technology. "To comprehensively promote vibration suppression alloys, we have invested 500 million yuan to build a full industrial chain platform integrating vibration suppression alloy research and development, production, material testing, application development, application testing, and product delivery."
The vibration suppression alloy material developed by Tianqi Technology compensates for the deficiencies of traditional polymer damping materials, such as the inability to achieve rigid connections and poor weather resistance. It has characteristics such as high damping, a wide range of operating temperatures, a long lifespan, easy processing, high strength, and a wide range of operating frequencies. In Lu Bin's view, vibration suppression alloys will become one of the core development directions of damping materials.
In the field of rail transit, Tianqi Technology's products have been applied in scenarios such as noise reduction for high-speed rail and subway wheels, vibration reduction for the undercarriage suspension of high-speed rail, high-speed rail air conditioning, air ducts, seats, electrical cabinets, etc. The average vibration reduction effect is more than 40%, making it the optimal choice for vibration reduction in rail transit enterprises. In the military and aerospace fields, the products have been applied in core equipment such as vibration reduction for intelligent equipment platforms, vibration reduction for aircraft brake systems, vibration reduction for airship engines, and vibration reduction for propeller motors, significantly improving the accuracy and vibration amplitude of related equipment. At the same time, they are also applied in sensitive electronic components such as vibration reduction for aircraft computer systems and equipment connection vibration reduction, improving the lifecycle and accuracy of related devices.
Tianqi Technology's Vibration Suppression Alloy No. 1 material is mainly applied in the military and industrial fields, while the No. 2 material, which is in the research and development stage, is expected to be launched in the first half of next year. In terms of cost, the No. 2 material is significantly reduced, which means it can be applied in more fields. Currently, the annual output of Tianqi Technology's vibration suppression alloy can reach 600 tons. "Previously, there was no such material in China. We are establishing an application ecosystem for the industry. The difficulty lies not in the formula but in the overly long entire process chain," introduced Lu Bin.
In terms of the team, Tianqi Technology has established a consulting team composed of domestic and foreign experts, academicians, and college professors, as well as a technical research and development team composed of doctors and masters, totaling more than 60 people. They focus on material testing and application research and development, and have established a complete material database and application database. At the same time, Tianqi Technology has established strategic partnerships with major domestic universities and research institutes to jointly build industry-university-research cooperation units, jointly cultivate interdisciplinary compound talents, and establish a joint application testing platform with main engine factories and research institutes such as CRRC, COMAC, and AVIC General Aircraft.
Currently, Tianqi Technology has become a vibration reduction solution developer and vibration suppression alloy product supplier for large industrial groups such as CRRC, AVIC, and CSSC.
