HardcoreTech has learned that Shutoo Technology (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Shutoo Technology") recently completed a several-million-yuan angel round of financing. This round was invested by MiraclePlus, and the funds will be mainly used for the research and development and delivery of technologies and products such as the training and iteration of multimodal large models, and the structural upgrade of general-purpose composite robots.

"Shutoo Technology" was established in April 2024. The company focuses on the integration of multimodal embodied intelligent large models with the operational capabilities of robot scenarios. Through independent research and development of modular hardware, it realizes the commercialization of general-purpose composite robots.

The founder and CEO, Lin Xiao, is a serial entrepreneur in the technology field with many years of experience in intelligent hardware research and development; the co-founder and COO, Zhuo Yu, once worked in a leading industrial investment and venture capital fund, and has rich experience in robot field investment, operation and implementation. Many core members come from leading enterprises such as Google, Tencent, SAIC, Avita, and the Hong Kong Research and Development Center for Intelligent Construction.

Since last year, the rapid development of AI technology has brought new possibilities to robots, and the concept of embodied intelligence has entered people's vision. Based on multimodal large models, the perception, decision-making and interaction of robots have been enhanced, with stronger autonomous learning ability and environmental adaptability. The industry expects that the combination of large models and robots can achieve an explosion of "one brain for multiple machines" or "one machine for multiple uses".

The general large model shows its strong ability, thanks to the rich human and industry knowledge contained in the massive data behind it. Based on a large number of field visits and industry analyses in the early stage, combined with policy guidance and social needs, "Shutoo Technology" chose to enter from the agriculture and environmental protection industries with the most urgent needs. In response to the pain points of the scenes in the agriculture and environmental protection industries in recent years, such as labor shortage, sharply increasing costs, and low degree of automation, "Shutoo Technology" goes deep into the industry, builds an industry multimodal large model architecture - Baihe Large Model based on massive vertical domain data training, and endows the robot with the operational capabilities of specific scenarios.

In terms of hardware, the Baihe Large Model can currently match more than 95% of the hardware on the market, "one brain for multiple machines", providing customers with a commercially available and highly stable robot deployment to help robots engage in more complex and non-standard tasks.

At the same time, "Shutoo Technology" independently researches and develops the general-purpose composite robot, Qingshan Robot. Only by switching the end effector, it can achieve "one machine for multiple uses". Driven by the Baihe Large Model, it has strong generalization and can complete all up and down operation processes; there is no additional deployment cost when switching operations, and it can not only pick fresh flowers, but also pick scallions; it can not only do farm work, but also help environmental protection, greatly improving the utilization rate of robots and reducing customer costs.
