The price is benchmarked against Maybach, and the design is benchmarked against Rolls-Royce.

The brand Zunjie, under Hongmeng Zhixing, which is positioned as a million-level brand, has finally made its debut.

During the Guangzhou Auto Show, the Huawei exhibition stand set up a mysterious dark room, and the first model of Zunjie, the S800, held a small-scale preview, revealing the exterior design to some media and competitors. Since the new car is still in the confidential stage and photography is not allowed, 36Kr will describe the exterior design of this new car in words.

The Zunjie S800 is a four-door sedan with a length similar to that of the Mercedes-Maybach, but with a greater width, making the overall appearance more magnificent. The body design style of the Zunjie S800 is similar to that of Rolls-Royce, with the front part being more square-shaped, and the door panels being tall and large in area.

Like the other two sedans under Hongmeng Zhixing, the Xiangjie S9 and the Zhijie S7, the Zunjie S800 has the same smooth and sleek roof curve, making the shape of the Zunjie S800 more dynamic. The wheels use the silver large-disk wheels exclusive to luxury cars. The difference is that there are more than ten openings around the wheels of the Zunjie S800, making it more delicate.

The Zunjie S800 on display this time features a two-tone color scheme, with the upper part of the car body being silver and the lower part being purple. Under the exhibition hall lights, the paint surface presents a very fine granular luster.

In the front hood part, the Zunjie S800 is designed with two raised lines, adding a sense of solemnity. The front face has changed from the simple style of new energy vehicles.

At the bottom of the front face is a somewhat wide through-type metal grille with substantial lines. The car logo is not a standing logo but is embedded in the middle of the upper part of the front of the car and can glow when the vehicle is parked. Four long daytime running lights are placed at each corner of the closed grille, and the lamp surface is in an irregular wavy shape, with a good luster from different angles. On both sides of the closed grille and between the upper and lower daytime running lights is the headlight area.

The design concept of the headlight area of the Zunjie S800 is the vast galaxy. The starlight lamps occupy a large area of the front face, and the effect is very brilliant. The headlights use Huawei's self-developed lighting system. In order to show the sense of the galaxy, the lamp body is a full crystal design with a great sense of transparency.

In the past, the starry sky was mostly used in the interior. To arrange a large starry sky design on the exterior of the vehicle body requires very high requirements in many links such as the light source, the material of the lamp group, and the precision of the panel punching. The vast galaxy design on the front face of the Zunjie S800 has no light leakage or flaws from any angle, and the luster also changes with the angle. This is not only an innovation in design but also a progress in manufacturing technology.

Exquisite materials and a large-scale starlight design give the Zunjie S800 a "new luxury temperament" that is different from traditional luxury cars.

In the rear part of the vehicle, the lights are still the most eye-catching part. There is a light strip that is also filled with starlight, but the difference is that in this light strip with a sense of depth, a red star ring is also designed. As the angle changes, this star ring will also change slightly, and this taillight also has a special name, called the Galaxy Scroll.

At the door handle, the Zunjie S800 adopts an inset design. On the surface, the door handle is hidden within the plane of the door. In the inset curved surface, it is still a full starlight design. Huawei personnel told 36Kr that the meaning here is "Reaching for the Stars with Hands", injecting a romantic sentiment of national culture into the design. On this vehicle, Huawei has played with lighting technology.

Huawei personnel told 36Kr that most of the design team of Zunjie are Chinese.

The design of the Zunjie S800 does indeed differ from the luxury car designs dominated by the West in the past. Traditional luxury cars show luxury through a large area of metal elements, while the Zunjie S800 is more of an introverted lighting design - the starry sky composed of small holes, the galaxy that can be appreciated only when approaching the narrow taillights, and the small but eye-catching stars at the door handle. These are new design expressions with very distinctive national cultural characteristics.

This new car will officially meet the public at the launch event on November 26. At that time, compared to the price and sales volume, the design will be the first to become a hot topic for the Zunjie S800.
