Multiple people involved in the transaction stated that DeepSeek will complete its latest round of financing in the near future, with the financing amount increased from the previously planned 500 billion yuan to about 1 trillion yuan. This is DeepSeek's second round of financing, and the proposed financing amount has doubled in less than half a month. Among them, the proposed investment amount of new and existing shareholders each accounts for roughly half. The doubling of the financing scale has not affected the overall valuation, and the pre-money valuation of DeepSeek is still about 5 trillion yuan at present. According to transaction insiders from multiple independent sources, the new investors in this round are mainly industrial investors, including Stony Creek Capital, SMIC Puhua, CPE Yuanfeng, Legend Capital, Geely and other institutions. In addition, the existing shareholders who participated in the first round of financing are also on the investor list of this round, including CATL, Tencent, IDG Capital, Lisi Capital and Shixiang Capital.
