GPU cloud service provider GMI has raised $668 million in financing from investors including NVIDIA.
Established five years ago and providing enterprise clients with servers equipped with NVIDIA chips, GMI Cloud announced on Wednesday that it has completed a $668 million equity and debt financing. In this financing round, the $223 million equity financing was led by ARCHIV, a new investment institution focusing on AI and robotics, with NVIDIA participating as a follow-on investor. The company did not disclose its valuation, but stated that its annualized contractual revenue exceeds $600 million. This round of financing indicates that NVIDIA is still continuously supporting emerging small and medium-sized cloud service providers, focusing on backing enterprises that can boost NVIDIA's business development from multiple dimensions.
