German drone manufacturer Quantum Systems has secured $1.2 billion in financing

German defense technology company Quantum Systems said on Thursday that it has raised $1.2 billion in new funding, pushing the drone manufacturer's valuation to about $8 billion, marking one of the largest private fundraising rounds ever secured by a European defense technology company. This valuation is roughly eight times higher than it was a year ago. The Munich-based company said this funding round was supported by international investors. (Sina Finance)
