A former Alibaba and Tencent employee is embarking on a second entrepreneurial journey, having secured nearly 100 million yuan in investment and developed a "Chinese version of crayfish" in just two weeks.

On March 11th, according to the official WeChat account "Beautiful Xihu" of Xihu District, Hangzhou-based AI Agent startup NoDesk AI has just completed a financing round of nearly 100 million yuan, jointly invested by Hupan Shannan, Chuxin Capital, Gaotu, and Shunfu Capital.

Before the Spring Festival, "Lobster" (the nickname of the AI Agent framework OpenClaw) became extremely popular. Song Jian, the founder of Nodesk AI, led the team to develop a new product, DeskClaw, in just two weeks. This product has been called the Chinese version of 'Crayfish' by local official media.

The product was originally named NoDesk and was initially only an internal tool designed to help the e-commerce Agent business team improve work efficiency based on OpenClaw. However, with the explosive growth of external demand, the company officially launched the product to the public on February 14, 2026, and released the first version of the DeskClaw personal edition.

Nodesk AI was founded in 2025. Its founder, Song Jian, has worked in large companies such as Alibaba and Tencent. Before founding Nodesk AI, Song Jian also worked in companies like Zhipu, exploring the implementation of basic models in Agent applications. This is his second entrepreneurial venture. In 2014, he founded the e-commerce DaaS company "Duozhun Data" and later exited through a merger and acquisition.

Currently, the DeskClaw personal edition is undergoing internal testing, and the enterprise edition was released and open-sourced on March 7th. The product is in the form of an AI assistant desktop pet, a little crab that crawls around on the user's computer.

The DeskClaw personal edition can operate browsers, read and write files, and call local applications. It can directly complete tasks such as market research and information organization for users. It is deeply compatible with Feishu, DingTalk, and WeCom for Enterprises, and supports the invocation of multiple models such as MiniMax, Kimi, GLM, Qwen, and DeepSeek. The data runs locally and is not uploaded to the cloud.

According to the official website of NoDesk AI, the company's main business in the past year was e-commerce Agent. The company launched a one-stop brand marketing AI growth platform, including six core products such as the market insight tool Marketing Flow, the content factory No Studio, and the influencer intelligent matching tool Talent Flow.

Currently, NoDesk AI's main businesses include two pillars: DeskClaw and AI marketing applications. Song Jian revealed in an interview with Intelligence Emergence that the company's underlying technology has evolved to in-depth development based on the OpenClaw architecture, and the application layer has been re-divided into three product lines: the DeskClaw personal edition, the DeskClaw enterprise edition, and AI marketing applications.

OpenClaw has also changed the company's human resources evaluation system. NoDesk's human resources evaluation now focuses on the proportion of employees' contributions in the actual work process. It is reported that over 60% of the NoDesk AI team are post-2000s, and most of these post-2000s have a high acceptance of technological iterations. Song Jian said that during the entire Spring Festival, the NoDesk AI team was in a sprint state, and each person was "maximizing" their AI coding productivity every day, starting from 150 million Tokens, which is equivalent to 10,000 lines of code per person per day.

According to Qichacha, the company has completed two rounds of financing. In April 2025, it received angel round financing from Hangzhou Liguotou. Then, on March 9th this year, it just announced a nearly 100 million yuan financing from institutions such as Hupan Shannan and Chuxin Capital.
