On August 20th, Weimob Group (02013.HK) released its interim report for 2025. The total revenue was 775 million yuan. After adjusting for the impact of the downward adjustment of the rebate ratio for the merchant solution in the first half of 2024, the adjusted total revenue in the first half of 2025 increased by 7.8% year-on-year. The adjusted EBITDA was 72 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 140.7%, achieving the first turnaround since 2022. The adjusted net profit was 17 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 109.0%, achieving the first turnaround since 2021.

During the reporting period, Weimob Group's total gross profit was 582 million yuan, with an adjusted year-on-year increase of 36.1%. The gross profit margin increased from 66.4% to 75.1%, a year-on-year increase of 8.7 percentage points. In the first half of 2025, the company's operating cash flow had a slight outflow of approximately 28 million yuan. As of June 30, 2025, the company's cash and bank deposit balance was approximately 1.574 billion yuan, indicating a healthy overall financial condition.

In the first half of 2025, Weimob's AI-related revenue was approximately 34 million yuan. Benefiting from the breakthrough growth in AI commercialization revenue, the revenue of Weimob's subscription solution was 438 million yuan, a sequential increase of 1.38%, entering a stage of stabilization and recovery. The revenue of the merchant solution was 338 million yuan. After adjusting for the impact of the downward adjustment of the rebate ratio, it increased by as much as 45.3% year-on-year. The gross profit margin increased from 74.5% to 91.3%, achieving a strong recovery.

Specifically, Weimob's AI business layout over the past three years involves four aspects. With the support of AI, the company's WAI SaaS business, the new-generation SaaS supports quick setup, intelligent operation, and Al Agent teams. The system covers areas such as e-commerce, retail, local life, private domain operation, etc.

The WAI Pro business can customize AI applications for enterprises. It serves customer groups such as marketing agencies, content production teams, brand customers, and multi-channel operators, and supports customer business scenario consultations, customization of multi-modal AI functions, and custom system integrations.

The WIME service targets individual users and small and micro-enterprises for AI applications. Centered around the "one-person e-commerce operation" scenario, it covers functions such as copywriting generation, marketing/e-commerce image generation, and AI tools.

36Kr learned that WIME can be used as an AI website-building tool. It was among the first to enter the WeChat Mini Program service market and also launched on Xiaohongshu and opened Xiaohongshu stores. In the first half of the year, the cumulative number of registered users reached 116,000, a 139% increase from the end of 2024. The number of paying users continued to increase, and the revenue increased by 172%.

The WAI PaaS OEM business provides AI capabilities for various applications in ecological cooperation through its PaaS capabilities, including but not limited to image generation, video generation, text generation, Agent capabilities, and intelligent Q&A.

After three years of layout, Weimob has achieved scenario penetration in its AI business, from general scenarios to personalized scenarios, and also achieved group penetration, from individual use to enterprise coverage.

Not long ago, at the Weimob Day city summit, Qiu Haoping, the person in charge of Weimob Group, introduced that Weimob's AI capabilities can optimize the "people, goods, and scenario" aspects in the retail industry. Specifically, in the "people" dimension, the shopping guide Agent launched by Weimob can help brands automatically generate shopping guide tasks, improving transaction and conversion efficiency. At the "goods" level, capabilities such as AI virtual fitting and product copywriting generation help improve operational efficiency. In the "scenario" aspect, in the face of the current situation of merchants' multi-channel marketing and operation, the ability to automatically generate graphic and live-streaming scripts by AI makes AI a good assistant for merchants' all-round operation.

At the beginning of this year, Weimob launched five solutions for "Weimob X WeChat Mini Program Stores", connecting the jump link between mini-programs and WeChat Mini Program Stores. In the first month of its launch, it penetrated 15% of the existing accounts. During the reporting period of the interim report, the average monthly sequential growth rate of orders for merchants who activated the function was 27%, and the average monthly sequential growth rate of members was 26%. In the first half of 2025, the monthly GMV scale of newly bound WeChat Mini Program Store merchants by Weimob was approximately 50 million yuan, with a monthly growth rate of approximately 100%.

In addition to its cooperation with WeChat, Weimob continues to promote cooperation with Xiaohongshu, Alipay, and Kuaishou. It has become a HarmonyOS development service provider and added cooperation with business formats such as Meituan and Douyin.

In the second half of the year, Weimob will actively promote the implementation of AI Agent applications, continue to develop the WeChat e-commerce ecosystem, layout the promoter and video account MCN business to help merchants leverage social e-commerce to obtain traffic and convert customers, explore multi-channel business opportunities, focus on the local life market, strengthen the construction of system support capabilities for business scenarios such as "products, store services, and experiences", and explore international business to further expand into mature overseas markets such as North America.
