On May 26, 2025, Suzhou LeXiang Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "LeXiang Technology"), a domestic intelligent robot enterprise, officially announced the completion of a 100-million-yuan-level Angel + round of financing. The lead investor was Jinqiu Fund, with old shareholders Matrix Partners, Oasis Capital, and Monolith making oversubscribed additional investments, and Light Source Capital participating in the follow-on investment. Light Source Capital served as the exclusive financial advisor.

This is the second round of financing completed by LeXiang Technology within three months. The total amount of the angel round of financing was nearly 300 million yuan. This round of financing will be mainly used for team building and mass production development of the product platform.

LeXiang Technology was founded in December 2024. Its founder, Guo Renjie, entered the Youth Class of Xi'an Jiaotong University at the age of 15. He studied Energy and Power Engineering and at the Jinhe Center for Economic Research as an undergraduate and graduated from the London School of Economics and Political Science with a postgraduate degree. He once served as the Executive President of Dreame in China, managing a team of over 1,500 people.

In the floor-cleaning robot industry, which has seen fierce competition in the past decade in the robot industry, Guo Renjie led his team to launch several industry-defining products, achieving a 50-fold growth in three years, leading the enterprise to an annual revenue of over 6 billion yuan, and driving the brand's high-end transformation.

LeXiang Technology focuses on the research and development of general household small embodied intelligent robots, with the goal of creating a "new-generation household mobile hardware terminal in the 'robot + AI era'."

Currently, for two household scenarios, indoor and "indoor + outdoor", LeXiang Technology has completed the development of two product platforms: a 50-centimeter-tall small embodied intelligent robot Z-Bot with 18 degrees of freedom, and a tracked W-Bot with stable outdoor sports capabilities.

Based on its rich experience in household robots, LeXiang Technology uses the robot form as a solution, leveraging the locomotion capabilities of robot technology and the interaction capabilities of AI technology to create general household small embodied intelligent robots, aiming to become a new-generation household mobile hardware terminal that can truly meet the diverse needs of users.

In terms of technological reserves, LeXiang Technology's long-term solution for small embodied robots in household scenarios mainly forms long-term barriers in joint modules, motion control, and interaction models.

In terms of form, LeXiang Technology's current technological reserves have enabled the development of technology platforms covering various forms from humanoid to tracked, suitable for different scenarios. In motion control, it has completed the reserves and deployment from traditional algorithms to reinforcement learning. In terms of interaction, in addition to the application of language models, LeXiang Technology has also started to independently develop a consciousness bionic model, ultimately hoping to make robots truly become emotional family members.

Currently, the LeXiang Technology team has 39 members and has introduced a large number of young and innovative technical talents. Among them, R & D personnel account for 85%, graduating from top domestic and international institutions such as Tsinghua University, Zhejiang University, the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and Carnegie Mellon University.

In addition, LeXiang Technology has also established an engineering team with experience in the mature robot industry, mainly in the floor-cleaning robot field. This team includes the CTO and product line president of a leading company with 20 years of experience in the floor-cleaning robot industry, as well as 12 new doctors and postgraduate students in the fields of robot motion control and vision.

Thus, LeXiang Technology has formed a combination of an "innovative + experienced" team.
