Post-2000s startup founders have launched the map-based social product "Qishi", and are seeking seed round financing to cut into the offline buddy matching track.

Qishi is a social product centered on maps and deeply integrated with local life scenarios, targeting the immediate offline companion-seeking demands of urban young people aged 18 to 30. At present, China's local life track and social track have long been separated: platforms such as Meituan and Dianping focus on merchant information and group-buying transactions, only solving the problem of "where to consume"; social products such as Momo and Soul are biased towards romantic matching and online chatting, and cannot meet the lightweight immediate companion-seeking demands. When users want to find dining companions or performance companions to participate in offline catering and cultural entertainment activities together, they need to jump between multiple platforms, and there is no integrated tool to connect the complete process of team invitation, expense sharing and offline fulfillment, which is also a common social pain point faced by young groups at present.

This project is initiated by Zheng Hongliang, an entrepreneur born after 2000, who once worked in the chemical industry. The product concept comes from his real travel experience with his peers. From market research, product definition to interaction scheme and business model design, Zheng Hongliang independently promoted the early stage of the project, built the product prototype relying on AI tools, and established the core positioning of "map is social interaction, the trinity of scenario, people and the present". At this stage, the project is in the preparation stage of seed round financing, and plans to connect with capital institutions through channels such as the official websites of investment institutions and Jingzhun, so as to promote product development and implementation.

Track demand upgrading, untapped niche market for light social interaction

As the "companion culture" has become the mainstream social trend of young groups, offline demands such as dining together, attending performances and leisure gatherings continue to rise, and related topics have long occupied the hot search lists on social platforms. In third- and fourth-tier cities, the acquaintance social circle is relatively solid, and young people have more urgent needs to expand their offline social circles and find immediate travel companions, but the corresponding segmented track has always lacked vertical product coverage.

Industry views show that the competition focus of the local life track is gradually shifting from the competition for merchant resources to the scenario connection between people, and light social interaction and light scenarios are becoming new growth poles. Qishi plans to take Liaoning Province as the starting region, and Chaoyang, Liaoning, as one of the initiating cities, is also a key trial operation city. According to the data of the 7th National Population Census, the local permanent resident population reaches 2.8 million, and the scale of the core target group aged 18 to 30 is sufficient to support the verification of the single-city model. If the funds are sufficient, the project can be directly promoted across the country, with considerable potential market space.

Taking maps as the core carrier to open up the full link of social consumption

Compared with similar products on the market, the core difference of Qishi is that it takes the real map as the main interface of the product, and aggregates three types of information: surrounding offline merchants, online users in the same city, and group activities initiated by users on the same page. Merchants only serve as the carrying points of social scenarios, and the real core is the immediate connection between people. When browsing the map, users can view nearby online like-minded people, directly join groups initiated by others, or select catering and cultural entertainment merchants to initiate activities on their own. The product has a built-in AA automatic sharing and advance payment mechanism, covering the complete link from activity initiation, member invitation, expense payment to offline verification.

Aiming at the common pain point of last-minute no-shows in offline team formation, Qishi has designed a 100-point reputation score system to record and restrict users' fulfillment behaviors. At the same time, the product is equipped with independent location privacy switch, emergency contact and one-click alarm functions, which completes the safety compliance design in advance, avoids the problems of flooded fake users and inefficient online chatting in traditional social products, and also fills the market gap of traditional local life platforms that lack the "find people" link. At the supply chain level, Qishi plans to connect with Douyin group buying, Damai and Taopiaopiao ticketing resources to provide users with rich consumption scenario options for forming groups.

Launch across the province and expand gradually to build a diversified revenue system

According to the project plan, after the seed round funds are in place, Qishi will officially start product development. The MVP version will be launched within 0 to 3 months; from 3 to 6 months, it will focus on carrying out key trial operations in Chaoyang, Liaoning, one of the initiating cities, accumulate 5,000 seed users, and continuously polish the product experience; from 6 to 12 months, the operation indicators of 20,000 registered users, 3,000 weekly active users and a total of 500 offline activities in Liaoning Province will be achieved. After the regional data meets the standards, the project will launch the next round of financing, and promote nationwide expansion according to the capital situation.

In the cold start stage, Qishi adopts the strategy of deep cultivation in key cities, takes local universities and young business districts as the core scenarios, completes the initial user accumulation by recruiting companion influencers and distributing activity subsidies, and gradually connects to the supply of Douyin group buying, Damai and Taopiaopiao ticketing later. After the product is launched, it will be open to users across the country without regional usage restrictions. At the business model level, the project plans three sources of income: group buying commission, performance ticketing CPS commission, and platform advertising. The early stage will focus on product R&D and user scale growth.

The product design of Qishi is rooted in the real offline social scenarios of young people in the same city, and it has received positive feedback from peer users in the prototype stage. The project party said that a large number of young people who are used to traveling alone do not reject social interaction, but lack low-threshold channels to find companions. Whether in daily life or on journeys across mountains and seas, Qishi can help you find a travel companion. The goal of the project is to create a standardized offline companion-seeking tool, so that immediate offline companion-seeking can become a daily choice.
