The low-altitude economy sector has witnessed a milestone breakthrough! Muyu Tian Aviation recently officially announced that the full airframe of its heavy-lift flying truck AT8000 has been grandly rolled off the production line at the Airport Industrial Park in Xinwu District, Wuxi City. As the world's largest known eVTOL, the rollout of the AT8000 flying heavy truck marks that China has taken the global lead in the field of heavy-duty low-altitude logistics equipment, injecting core momentum into the commercial implementation of the low-altitude economy.
Flying Heavy Truck AT8000
Global Benchmark for Unmanned Heavy-Duty Cargo, 8-Ton "Aerial Heavy Truck" Defines New Industry Heights
The AT8000 flying heavy truck is a brand-new masterpiece from Muyu Tian Aviation, which has deeply focused on the heavy-duty cargo eVTOL sector. Its maximum takeoff weight reaches 8,000 kilograms (8 tons), far exceeding similar models under development, and is currently recognized globally as the peak of heavy-duty cargo eVTOLs.
Core Performance: Maximum effective payload of 3,500 kilograms (extended-range version), cruising speed of 252 km/h, full-load range of 1,000 kilometers (extended-range version), capable of covering full-scenario low-altitude logistics networks including cities, counties, mountain villages, and islands.
Innovative Configuration: Adopts a semi-tilt hybrid architecture with 18 lifting rotors (4 tilting) + 2 propulsive rotors, enabling more stable vertical takeoff and landing, higher cruise efficiency, and balancing high reliability with long endurance capabilities.
Full-Stack Independent R&D: Achieves full autonomy and controllability from conceptual design, aerodynamic layout, structural strength to aviation power motors and the full-aircraft avionics system. It possesses the R&D and manufacturing capabilities for full-composite material aircraft, with complete independent intellectual property rights for core technologies.
Ushering in a New Era of Low-Altitude Logistics, Empowering Multi-Scenario Commercial Applications
Different from traditional low-altitude logistics equipment, the AT8000 focuses on the core demands of "heavy load, long distance, and high efficiency". It can be widely applied to low-altitude cargo scenarios such as time-sensitive logistics distribution, fresh cold chain transportation, emergency material delivery, maritime replenishment, and material support in remote areas, truly realizing point-to-point "door-to-door" direct transportation.
Compared with traditional land transportation, the AT8000 flying heavy truck focuses on urgent, difficult, high-risk, and high-value cargo scenarios. Unrestricted by ground traffic, it greatly improves cargo timeliness, can effectively solve logistics challenges in fresh produce, cold chain, remote areas, islands, and mountainous regions, and provides a brand-new solution for the construction of a modern logistics system.
Milestone Nodes Progress Intensively, Commercial Operations Enter Countdown Phase
Since the launch of R&D, Muyu Tian Aviation's AT8000 flying heavy truck has completed verification flights of scaled-down models, fully validating the aircraft's system reliability. Following this full airframe rollout, Muyu Tian Aviation will rapidly advance subsequent final assembly, system integration, ground tests, and the maiden flight, while accelerating the airworthiness certification process simultaneously, striving to put the aircraft into commercial operation at an early date and seize the first-mover advantage in the global heavy-duty low-altitude logistics market.
