Star Power has settled in Ningbo Qianwan and will start mass production in 2026. It conducts full-stack self-research on both software and hardware.

Recently, Star Dynamics Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Star Dynamics"), a new force in the domestic humanoid robot industry, has settled in Qianwan New Area, Ningbo, Zhejiang, and held a launch event.

Star Dynamics Technology Co., Ltd. was jointly founded by Hongrun Construction, a domestic infrastructure - listed company, and Matrix Super Intelligence, an artificial intelligence enterprise. Among them, Hongrun Construction holds 60% of the shares, and Matrix Super Intelligence holds 40%.

Zhang Haixing, the founder of Matrix Super Intelligence, is the only Chinese executive who was invited by Elon Musk for an interview. Therefore, the team has absorbed the R & D experience of Tesla robots. Covering everything from product design, model algorithms to body craftsmanship, the team has the full - stack technology ecosystem for building the software and hardware of humanoid robots.

At the press conference, Zhang Haixing introduced the products and technological features of Star Dynamics from multiple aspects: creating "more human - like" hands; endowing robots with an embodied intelligent brain that can "see, hear, speak, and operate autonomously".

The dexterous hand of Star Dynamics has 22 active degrees of freedom + 5 passive degrees of freedom and can move actively. It can not only thread a needle but also use tools dexterously, which is a prerequisite for achieving fine - scale operations.

Meanwhile, the robots of Star Dynamics also include a joint system that can be combined like building blocks. The joints responsible for linear and rotational movements can be combined together like building blocks. Just as a human knee is more suitable for bending back and forth to bear weight, while a wrist is more suitable for flexible rotation.

At the same time, Star Dynamics has endowed the robots with an embodied intelligent brain that can "see, hear, speak, and operate autonomously". This brain is divided into two parts: a cloud - based brain responsible for thinking and planning, like a human command center; and a local cerebellum responsible for precise execution to ensure accurate movements.

"This highly intelligent self - developed system has enabled us to streamline the most core control codes from hundreds of thousands of lines to less than 3,000 lines. Fewer codes mean a lower probability of errors, and a more stable and reliable system," Zhang Haixing said.

In addition to technology, Zhang Haixing also has unique insights into the products and strategies of humanoid robots. In his view, future robots should not be expensive customized artworks but standardized products that can be freely combined according to different tasks, just like Lego bricks.

To achieve standardized products that can be freely combined, Zhang Haixing led the team to create a "hardware abstraction layer" to decouple software and hardware. This means that the system of Star Dynamics' products can be compatible with components from different suppliers.

In the future, you can configure Star Dynamics robots just like configuring a computer. For example, for logistics service scenarios, you can choose legs with high load - bearing capacity and grasping hands; if you need to perform precision assembly, you can replace them with high - precision dexterous hands.

According to Zhang Haixing, Star Dynamics plans to achieve mass production in 2026.
