36Kr Hard-Knowledge has learned that Beijing Ruizhi Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Ruizhi Technology") has recently completed tens of millions of yuan in angel round financing. This round is led by Zhongguancun Capital, followed by Zhongguancun Science City Corporation, and Zhongguancun Industrial Research Institute acts as the exclusive financial advisor. At present, the company is advancing a new round of financing.
Ruizhi Technology is a technology enterprise focused on the development of AI material R&D software and platforms, led by a team of academicians and Cheung Kong Scholars. It mainly provides material calculation, performance prediction and R&D services for scientific research institutions and industrial enterprises.
At present, the company is developing an AI material R&D platform around the directions of scientific research agents, material calculation and data management, with its business covering fields such as advanced functional ceramics, alloys and new energy materials.
Different from enterprises that directly produce and sell materials, Ruizhi Technology mainly converts capabilities such as computational simulation and data analysis in the material R&D process into software products and R&D services for scientific research institutions and industrial enterprises.
For example, the development of new alloys requires the design of different material formulas, followed by experimental tests to verify their properties. Material calculation software can simulate and predict the structure and properties of different formulas before experiments, helping enterprise R&D personnel narrow down the range of candidates.
It is exactly this type of tools and services that Ruizhi Technology provides. The company hopes to integrate the work that originally required researchers to complete separately, including scheme design, structural modeling, computational analysis and data processing, through the self-developed Archeos agent platform, reduce the switching between different tools, and further integrate into the R&D processes of industrial enterprises.
Turn the computing links in material R&D into products
In the material R&D process, from material formula design and process optimization to performance verification, researchers often need to use different calculation methods and software tools. Due to the differences in data formats, calculation processes and operation modes of different software, researchers usually need to spend time on tool deployment, data conversion and calculation process design.
Ruizhi Technology hopes to integrate these works through platform-based products. Its core product Archeos adopts a multi-agent architecture, integrating functions such as literature retrieval, material design, computational simulation, result analysis and report generation, and integrates the work originally scattered in different software and R&D links, enabling researchers to complete more computing tasks on a unified platform.
Specifically, the platform splits the material R&D task into different links, and then the corresponding agents call computing tools to complete work such as scheme generation, calculation execution, result analysis and feedback iteration. For example, in the material performance prediction task, researchers can put forward specific R&D requirements, and the platform assists in completing relevant document retrieval, calculation scheme design and model invocation, as well as sorting out and analyzing the calculation results.
For industrial customers, the use value of this type of platform is mainly reflected in reducing duplicate operations, lowering the use cost of computing tools, and helping R&D personnel complete material design and performance analysis.
From scientific research achievements to industrial customers
Whether the material computing platform can generate commercial revenue depends on whether it can be integrated into the actual R&D processes of customers. According to the company, in an industrial-grade alloy material performance prediction project, the team assisted customers in material formula selection and performance analysis by integrating computational simulation data and establishing machine learning models.
For relevant enterprises, predicting material properties in advance can provide reference for material formula screening and subsequent experimental design. Compared with software authorization, customized projects can directly correspond to the R&D problems of customers, but usually enterprises also need to arrange technical personnel to complete model development, result analysis and project delivery.
Ruizhi Technology is currently trying to combine the two types of businesses. On the one hand, it provides customers with material calculation and data analysis tools through the Archeos platform; on the other hand, it provides customized calculation and technical services for the specific R&D needs of enterprises.
In addition to the existing software platform and R&D services, Ruizhi Technology also plans to further participate in the development of new materials. According to the company's plan, it hopes to combine computational simulation with experimental verification in the future, carry out joint material R&D with industrial customers, and explore commercialization methods such as technology licensing, joint development and revenue sharing.
