Krypton | Fang Fei from Honor: Jointly build five vertical domain models and solutions with Alibaba, and Magic9 delivers industry-leading AI capabilities.
On the morning of September 22, Fang Fei, President of Honor Product Line, delivered a speech at the main forum of Alibaba Cloud Summit, elaborating Honor's cutting-edge judgment on the next stage of AI terminal development. The upcoming annual flagship Honor Magic9 will not only be equipped with the industry's first system-level Agent Harness operating system, but also deeply integrate the super intelligent agent model and solution jointly built by Honor and Alibaba, enabling Agent to further evolve from "capable of understanding" to "capable of stable execution". In the future, Honor will continue to deepen cooperation with more ecological partners, and jointly explore the next generation of AI intelligent agent terminals and the next super Agent scenario.

Reconstruct the operating system to build industry-leading Agent capabilities
From Honor's perspective, terminal devices in the next decade will no longer be just containers for applications, but stages for intelligent agents, and the core driving force behind this terminal transformation comes from the operating system. Industry reports also confirm this judgment. The IDC report points out that the focus of future AI capability building will shift from competition over model capabilities to the collaborative evolution of system capabilities such as perception, memory, reasoning, planning and execution.
Based on this insight, Honor took the lead in proposing to upgrade MagicOS to a partner-type multimodal intelligent agent operating system — Agentic OS, which fully reconstructs six layers of technology stack including hardware layer, system layer and ecosystem layer, and truly realizes the paradigm leap of intent-driven, active intelligence, natural interaction and inherent cross-device capability.
In the process of system-level reconstruction, Honor joined hands with Alibaba to jointly build five vertical domain models and solutions for the next generation of AI mobile phones, create industry-leading mobile phone Agent capabilities, and enable AI mobile phones to move from passive response to active service. Based on in-depth co-creation on Honor MagicOS and Qwen Intelligence, Alibaba provides industry-leading basic model capabilities, while Honor provides system capabilities and real usage scenarios for hundreds of millions of end users, setting a new paradigm for end-cloud collaborative innovation.
However, for Agent to complete multi-step complex operations, relying only on large models is not enough, and a system-level collaborative scheduling framework is also required. To this end, Honor has built the industry's first system-level Agent Harness architecture, which is implemented on MagicOS 11. This architecture organizes the model with perception, planning, tool invocation and execution, enabling Agent to further evolve from "capable of understanding" to "capable of stable execution", and accelerate the AI evolution of the operating system.
Supported by the new model and solution, the new generation YOYO has achieved remarkable results in intent understanding, task planning, automatic execution and service closed loop, with a comprehensive task accuracy rate of 91.8%; the average operation time for automatic execution is 3.6 seconds; the maximum number of operable steps exceeds 100; and the end-to-end task closed loop rate reaches 90%. Compared with a month ago, its capabilities have been significantly improved. Honor and Alibaba jointly build and define a new industry paradigm, bringing a brand-new experience to terminals.
