Huawei has opened a hotel in Beijing.

On September 11, 2026, "Beijing Anpu Hotel Co., Ltd." was registered and established in Wenquan Town, Haidian District, with its registered address located in Zhongguancun Wenquan Science and Technology Park and a registered capital of 50 million yuan. According to shareholder information, this company is wholly owned by Shenzhen Huitong Commercial Co., Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary under Huawei.

Public information shows that contact for this project was initiated three years ago. In 2023, Wenquan Town held a discussion and exchange meeting with Huawei, with topics covering the introduction of hotel brands. Official materials of Zhongguancun Wenquan Science and Technology Park have also included "Huawei Anpu Hotel" in the supporting facilities of the park's Phase II.

The Huawei businesses familiar to the public are concentrated in communications, 5G, HarmonyOS, smart vehicles and consumer electronics. The hotel business belongs to another enterprise service system of Huawei.

According to the official introduction of Anpu, the starting point of the brand was "Baicaoyuan Guest House", the first business outlet in Shenzhen in 2004, which was renamed "Yinghuayuan" in 2005, and officially launched the "Anpu" brand in 2015.

From "guest house" to hotel brand, this system initially served Huawei's own business travel reception needs, rather than the mass consumer market.

Shenzhen Huitong Commercial behind it was founded in 2004, which is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Huawei Investment & Holding. According to the official information of Huitong Commercial, the company has long provided services for Huawei and other large enterprises including business reception, conference planning, travel service and hotel operation and management, with its business covering more than 200 countries and regions around the world. Anpu is the hotel brand formed after the productization of this internal business travel service system.

According to the on-site photos, the name on the project enclosure is "Anpu Manzhu". This is the sixth sub-brand under Anpu, and its official website currently only displays the Nanjing store.

However, Anpu's official recruitment website shows that the Beijing Anpu Manzhu Hotel is under preparation, and the recruitment positions cover multiple hotel operation positions such as marketing sales, executive housekeeper, front office, catering, engineering and so on.

Anpu's official website shows that it has a total of 6 sub-brands: Anpu Perrin, Anpu E-City, Anpu Hotel, Anpu Manzhu, Anpu Yue Ting and Anpu Yi Ting, which correspond to different accommodation needs from new workplace employees to senior enterprise executives respectively.

In recent years, this system has continued to expand along with Huawei's industrial and personnel layout, and new projects include hotels, apartments and airport stores in places such as Xicen of Shanghai, Tianjin, Chengdu Tianfu International Airport, Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport and other locations.

Huawei's first Anpu hotel in Beijing is located here, which is directly related to Huawei's existing industrial layout in the northern part of Haidian District.

Huawei Beijing Research Institute is located in Zhongguancun Environmental Protection Science and Technology Demonstration Park at No. 156 Beiqing Road, Haidian District. When the park launched investment promotion in 2006, Huawei signed the settlement agreement, and gradually formed industrial spaces such as Huawei Beijing Research Institute afterwards. This park is located in Wenquan Town.

Apart from the Environmental Protection Park, Wenquan Town has promoted the construction of Zhongguancun Wenquan Science and Technology Park in recent years. According to the public plan of the park, the total planned area of the science park is close to 1 million square meters, which will be constructed in three phases: Phase I is for start-up enterprises, Phase II serves rapidly developing enterprises, and Phase III undertakes R&D headquarters of technology enterprises.

The total floor area of Phase II is 310,000 square meters. In addition to office and R&D carriers, it also includes 1,655 talent apartments, commercial blocks, and an Anpu Hotel of about 18,000 square meters.

For traditional hotels, site selection first takes urban passenger flow, transportation, business districts and tourism resources into consideration.

But corporate hotels face another type of passenger flow. They primarily serve the industrial population. Employee training, team meetings, business receptions, customer visits, project exchanges, as well as cross-regional travel demands, may all generate accommodation needs.

Therefore, for a technology enterprise that has deep industrial relationships in a specific park, the hotel being a little far from the city center does not necessarily mean it is further away from the demands. On the contrary, it can be directly embedded into the industrial space where the enterprise is located.

According to the project filing information, the indoor fine decoration project corresponding to this hotel has a renovation area of about 17,600 square meters, with a total investment of about 56.92 million yuan, and the planned completion time is October 5, 2026.

If it advances as planned, it will not be long before it officially debuts.
