As the top brand in the global AR glasses market, RayNeo relies on its full-link independent R&D and mass production capabilities of optical solutions to continuously promote consumer AR glasses to the mass market. According to data from Counterpoint and IDC, RayNeo once again ranked first in the shipment volume of AR glasses in China and across the globe in the first quarter of 2026, and won the single-product sales championship during China's 618 shopping festival and North America's Prime Day. At the critical stage when AI glasses are moving from proof of concept to product competition, RayNeo decided to return to the essence of glasses and launched the brand-new iO series. The name iO is derived from I/O in computer language, namely Input & Output, representing RayNeo's understanding of human-computer interaction in the AI era: people obtain information and express intentions naturally through glasses, and after AI understands user demands, it feeds back appropriate content and suggestions to the user's field of vision, making glasses a new entry connecting people and the digital world.
Return to the essence of glasses, make technology hidden in classics
For smart glasses to truly enter daily life, the first priority is to make people willing to wear them all the time. RayNeo iO is redesigned from three aspects: optical display, frame structure and overall weight balance, so that the product becomes a pair of glasses with natural appearance and comfortable wearing experience even before it is powered on.

To create a mirror viewing experience closer to daily glasses, RayNeo iO has fully reconstructed the display system. The new Blue Lake Optical Waveguide adopts a three-layer optical structure and multi-layer micro-nano texture, achieving a transmittance of 93% in the OC area and over 98% in the non-display area. Even in complex light environments, the display area is almost invisible, and its chromatic aberration index is controlled at Delta E 2.52, making it the only AI glasses product in the industry that currently meets the EU EN ISO 12312-1 safety standard for daily lenses. The new optical engine "Firefly Optical Engine Nano" further reduces the volume and circuit area, and its final volume is smaller than a red bean, allowing the optical module to be truly integrated into the thin frame. RayNeo iO provides an equivalent 33-inch screen, the binocular display architecture supports adjusting the distance of the picture, with an eye-received brightness of 1800 nits, which can still clearly display text under strong outdoor light; it also supports full-process DC dimming and has passed TÜV SÜD's flicker-free and low-blue-light certifications.

In terms of appearance, RayNeo iO adopts a classic crown frame shape, using straight lines to outline a sharp sense, and rounded contours to weaken the abruptness of smart devices. To embed the tech modules into the thin form of daily glasses, RayNeo selects a lightweight magnesium-aluminum alloy front frame and double-layer titanium alloy temples, compressing the average width of the front frame edge to 2.25 mm, and the thinnest part of the titanium alloy temple to 1.15 mm. While taking into account strength and delicate touch, it makes the front and side viewing experience closer to ordinary glasses, and the overall weight of the device is as low as 34g, realizing all-day comfortable wearing experience.
To reduce frequent disturbances caused by mobile notifications, RayNeo iO is equipped with an information dashboard focused on efficiency and concentration, which directly presents high-frequency content such as weather, schedules, to-dos, world clocks, and stock subscriptions in your field of vision. Mobile notifications can also be synchronized to the lenses in time, helping users quickly judge the priority of information. To achieve more precise interaction, the new Smart Crown smart knob allows users to quickly operate and confirm with one hand by rotating and pressing, without repeatedly looking for the touch area on the temples. It also supports head gesture interaction of nodding to confirm and shaking head to cancel, so that users can complete operations naturally even in public places. In the future, RayNeo will further expand the capabilities of RayNeo iO in the third-party ecosystem, and plans to launch new functional scenarios such as parking payment, express query and flight information with partners including Alipay, JD, AutoNavi and Trip.com.
All-day proactive AI: a capability enhancement assistant that "understands you better the more you wear it"
Facing the high information density and high cognitive load in work and life, traditional AI assistants usually wait for users to issue instructions before providing help in a single scenario, and it is difficult to truly understand users' long-term habits and demands. Starting from all-day wearing, RayNeo iO supports an ultra-long battery life of two days, making AI change from a tool waiting to be called to a continuously online capability enhancement assistant.
In terms of underlying capabilities, RayNeo iO takes open-source large models as the capability base, and first supports DeepSeek V4 Pro and Qwen 3.7 Max. It will also access Kimi K3 and RayNeo's self-developed RayNeo AI large model later, providing users with multiple model options. On this basis, RayNeo also relies on the RayNeo all-day memory engine to further connect physical world information. iO can process information such as sound and location, convert memory into multiple information types such as scenarios, semantics and behaviors, understand users from large-scale, discontinuous and unstructured real scene data, and record and process 24-hour context generated by all-day wearing.

RayNeo iO builds an AI-enhanced assistant based on all-day schedules, meetings and life content. The all-day smart memory function can automatically generate summaries every day, summarize important conversations, to-dos and personal status, helping users manage trivial matters automatically. As information accumulates, AI can call historical content to understand users' topics of interest and expression habits, and no longer needs to start from scratch when answering next time. Users can trace back to the key points of yesterday's meeting and the orally agreed follow-up visit time, and also let AI give suggestions that better fit personal preferences based on long-term records. Based on the judgment and understanding of user scenarios, RayNeo iO has also developed a real-time prompt mode, which can identify relevant questions in ongoing conversations without users saying instructions, and display reference answers on the lenses. No matter it is temporary interviews, meeting communications, or encountering knowledge gaps in daily life, information can appear naturally at the moment when it is really needed.

RayNeo iO is equipped with 4 array microphones and 1 bone conduction microphone. Through the beamforming algorithm, it can accurately distinguish the speaker identity in multi-person scenarios, and improve the efficiency of meeting recording and summarization. To optimize the translation experience, RayNeo iO is equipped with BabelOS 3.0 smart translation engine from technology partner Timekettle, covering 55 languages and 109 accents around the world. Different from traditional machine translation that splices words word by word, BabelOS 3.0 uses large AI models to understand the full semantics first, then generates translations that are more in line with expression habits, and reduces communication interruptions caused by rigid literal translation and waiting through semantic sentence segmentation, polishing and error correction, and multi-engine intelligent scheduling. In the speech scenario, the AI teleprompter mode of RayNeo iO can scroll following the user's speaking speed, and highlight the content being narrated in real time, reducing the tension and interruption caused by frequent line of sight transfer during public speaking.
Keep AI online all day, and keep privacy visible and controllable at all times
All-day AI needs to continuously receive information from the real world. RayNeo iO puts privacy protection in the front of product design, takes Privacy by Design as the principle, and builds a privacy protection system from hardware to data around four dimensions: collection status, data processing, user control and external verification.
RayNeo iO is not equipped with a camera, reducing unnecessary visual collection entry; the privacy status light on the temple is bound to functional modules such as recording and translation at the hardware level. As long as the relevant function is in working state, the indicator light will turn on synchronously, which cannot be turned off or bypassed through software, so that whether the device is working is always clearly visible. The original conversations generated by all-day smart memory will first complete irreversible anonymization and desensitization on the device side. If necessary, only the desensitized structured information will be uploaded, and the original content will not leave the device in an identifiable form. All data is protected by financial-level encryption standards throughout the process.

After the data is generated, users still have full decision-making power: historical data can be exported, migrated, or completely deleted and unrecoverable; the glasses are bound to the account one-to-one, and others cannot re-bind or read the data after the device is lost. RayNeo's information security management system has passed ISO 27001 and ISO 27701 certifications, and covers compliance requirements such as GDPR, CE, EN 18031 and CRA. It also introduces a white hat security team to carry out penetration testing, so that the privacy mechanism from collection, processing to control is always subject to external verification, ensuring safety and controllability.
Positioned as "human-augmented AI glasses", RayNeo iO integrates daily wear, all-day proactive AI and trustworthy privacy protection, making AI change from "usable" to "worthy of long-term wearing".
