Heavy capital flows into edge-side physical AI: Qianhai Mother Fund has placed a hundreds of millions yuan bet, Om AI accelerates the commercialization of edge-side AI.
Recently, Hangzhou Lianhui Technology Co., Ltd. (abbreviation: Om AI Lianhui) announced the completion of a new round of financing of several hundred million yuan. This round was led by Qianhai Mother Fund with additional investment, with Hangzhou Municipal Government Industrial Fund and multiple capitals participating in the coordinated investment. At the same time, the company has officially open-sourced the VLX-Seek 1.5 end-side native fine-grained perception multimodal model, further consolidating its leading position with hard-core performance that outperforms NVIDIA's core model at the same parameter level. The funds raised in this round will be used for the technical iteration of the VLX model series, deepening R&D barriers and accelerating the commercial implementation of physical AI scenarios.
At present, the AI industry is shifting from cloud computing power competition to end-side scenario implementation, and physical AI has become the core trend. The strategic entry of Qianhai Mother Fund fully confirms the capital market's long-term value judgment on the technical strength, business model and industry prospect of Om AI Lianhui. As a pioneer in the global physical AI field, Om AI Lianhui has taken the lead in putting forward the industry's first concept of physical AI "end-side native" streaming multimodal model, and built a full-link technical closed loop of "continuous perception, precise positioning, action decision-making" based on the self-developed VLX model base. The newly open-sourced VLX-Seek 1.5 model has outstanding highlights: its 3B parameter version outperforms NVIDIA's LocateAnything-3B in multiple core indicators, the accuracy rate of drone embodied scenarios has increased by 62.9% significantly, and the target false positive rate has decreased by 74.8%.
In terms of commercialization, the company is completing the full-link industrial closed loop of end-side AI: the "one brain with multiple forms" capability based on the core VLX base has achieved large-scale implementation in multiple scenarios: it has jointly launched "OttoBox AI Studio" adapted to AIPC hardware with Lenovo and Apple; it has carried out in-depth cooperation with leading embodied intelligence enterprises to endow all kinds of terminal devices with perception, memory and decision-making capabilities; the self-developed wearable AI visual hub Homer AI has served nearly 100,000 visually impaired users across the country, with an average monthly AI call volume of 10 million times on the platform, ranking at the forefront of the industry in the commercialization process.
