36Kr learned that BluePoint Touch (Beijing) Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "BluePoint Touch") recently announced the completion of a Series C+ financing round exceeding 100 million yuan, jointly invested by Puquan Capital under CATL, Zhipu Robotics, Galaxy Universal, Opto, Galaxy Yuanhui and other institutions. This is the third financing round exceeding 100 million yuan completed by "BluePoint Touch" within nearly a year.
"BluePoint Touch" is an enterprise that 36Kr has been following for a long time. It focuses on robotic force sensors and has built four platform-based technologies, including high-performance elastomer design, embedded hardware circuits, high-precision structural decoupling algorithms, and six-dimensional synchronous calibration, forming a diversified product system including force sensors dedicated to humanoid robots, general force sensors, force control comprehensive solutions, and composite robot workstations.
With performance indicators such as high precision of 0.1%FS, high-frequency response above 10kHz, and 500% anti-overload, "BluePoint Touch" has broken the technological monopoly of overseas manufacturers and has obtained bulk orders from leading humanoid robot enterprises such as Zhipu, Xiaomi, XPeng, Galaxy Universal, Zhongqing, Ubtech, Xinghaitu, and Beijing Humanoid Robot Innovation Center.
According to the "2025 China Humanoid Robot Six-Dimensional Force Sensor Market Research Report" by Rui Industry, BluePoint Touch's market share in the Chinese humanoid robot six-dimensional force sensor market was about 62% in 2024, and it is expected to increase to 70% in 2025. The "GGII: 2025 China Humanoid Robot Six-Dimensional Force Sensor Market Analysis Report" by Gaogong Robot shows that "BluePoint Touch" had a market share of 72.6% in the first three quarters of 2025.

Since 2026, CATL has frequently appeared in the financing of the booming embodied intelligence track. In addition to making heavy investments in whole-machine enterprises, CATL's layout has also extended to the upstream and downstream of the industrial chain. Among them, force sensors, as essential components for key force control and end force control, have become an important part of it.
It is understood that in addition to financial support, the two parties will further cooperate in three aspects: First, CATL has invested in many enterprises in the robot field and can provide customer resource support; Second, CATL's management experience and business logic in parts manufacturing are worth learning from; Third, as an end user, CATL itself has a large number of industrial application scenarios, which helps to promote the implementation of products.
In addition to industrial investors, the investors in this round also include customers of "BluePoint Touch": Zhipu Robotics and Galaxy Universal. From customers to shareholders, the core of the cooperation is the formation of industry consensus - the application of large models in humanoid robots highly depends on force control capabilities, so force sensors have become core components. At the same time, as large-scale users of force sensors, the two leading humanoid robot enterprises have strictly verified the technical indicators and delivery capabilities of "BluePoint Touch" during long-term product installation. This investment reflects the customers' further recognition of "BluePoint Touch".
Why is force control so crucial for robots? Liu Wuyue explained from two dimensions: First, the absolute positioning accuracy of robotic arms is limited. Due to deformation or gaps in links such as harmonic reducers and connecting rods, and the consistency of each arm body is not as good as that of industrial robotic arms, there is a deviation between the theoretical position and the actual arrival position. Second, the vision system is also limited by flexible links, and the recognition and positioning errors are relatively large in complex lighting environments. Therefore, in actual operation, vision and the arm can only perform rough positioning, and the final fine operation needs to rely on force perception and control to complete.
On the other hand, the training of large robot models highly depends on reliable data. Due to the large gap in real-machine data, many large model trainings use a combination of simulation data and real-machine data. However, compared with data such as position and motion trajectory, force data is more difficult to achieve through simulation. "Force data involves the rigidity of the contacted object and the flexible links of the robotic arm, with many non-linear and inconsistent problems, making it more difficult to model. This is the core point to be supplemented with real machines in subsequent data training and must be achieved through a large number of operations." Liu Wuyue summarized.
In actual application scenarios, the situation will be more complex. Therefore, the next technical focus of "BluePoint Touch" is to cooperate with customers for large-scale implementation in specific scenarios. "Large-scale implementation in specific scenarios means truly applying force control in large quantities. In this process, many new requirements of customers for robots will be exposed, which are also new requirements for sensors and overall force control." Liu Wuyue introduced that although the hardware joints of robots have the same indicators, the solutions vary on different robot hardware products. Based on the advantages of its customer base and application scale, "BluePoint Touch" can better track customer needs and meet their higher performance requirements.
Application of "BluePoint Touch" force sensor products in robotic arms
In the market, the growth rate of humanoid robots has exceeded market expectations. The "Global Humanoid Robot Market Analysis" released by consulting firm IDC shows that the global humanoid robot shipments in 2025 were about 18,000 units, a year-on-year increase of about 508%, with Chinese manufacturers leading the market. Morgan Stanley raised its sales forecast for humanoid robots in China in 2026 from 14,000 units to 28,000 units and expects the sales volume of humanoid robots in China to reach 262,000 units in 2030.
With the rapid rise of the embodied intelligence and robot industries, "BluePoint Touch" has doubled its sales revenue for three consecutive years and achieved profitability. The rapid expansion of market demand has brought huge opportunities to the core component supply chain. Liu Wuyue expects that the shipments of "BluePoint Touch" joint force sensors will reach about 400,000 sets in 2026, and the shipments of six-dimensional force sensors will be about 30,000 to 40,000 sets.
Currently, "BluePoint Touch" has built a self-owned production base of over 10,000 square meters in Guangdong, realizing the automation of the production of robotic force sensors. The actual utilization rate of the first-phase fully automated production line has approached 90%. Next, through the replication of production lines, "BluePoint Touch" will be capable of producing 1 million sets of joint force sensors and 200,000 sets of end six-dimensional force sensors annually, and the delivery cycle is expected to be further compressed to two weeks.
When talking about future development, Liu Wuyue said that "BluePoint Touch" will increase the R & D of the next generation of high-precision and highly integrated force control sensors to better meet the mass production needs of humanoid robots; strengthen cooperation with partners in the humanoid robot and automotive industrial chains in the industrial ecosystem; and make strategic plans for the domestic market at the sales end while exploring overseas markets.
