In 2025, the innovative cases of AI-native applications are released with great fanfare.
The era of AI-native applications is coming.
In March this year, OpenAI fully opened the native image generation function of GPT-4o. Users can achieve integrated processing from text to images without calling external APIs. This not only sparked heated discussions globally but also marked that AI-native applications have entered a brand-new stage of development.
With the breakthroughs of open-source frameworks such as DeepSeek, the innovation and iteration speed and the breadth of implementation of AI-native applications have been significantly improved. Data shows that the monthly active users of domestic AI-native APPs exceeded 120 million in December last year, a year-on-year increase of 232%. In addition, the market is also very optimistic about the development prospects of generative AI (GenAI). According to Gartner's prediction, global spending on generative AI (GenAI) will reach $644 billion in 2025, a year-on-year increase of 76.4%.
Currently, AI-native applications are experiencing explosive growth and gradually becoming the core element of application experience in various scenarios. From medical diagnosis to industrial manufacturing, from personal assistants to the upgrading of the global industrial chain, AI-native is reshaping the industrial landscape at an amazing speed.
Based on this, in January this year, 36Kr hosted and launched the "2025 AI-Native Application Innovation Case" selection activity, hoping to focus on those AI-native products and applications that can truly improve quality and efficiency and lead industry transformation, and find those innovative practice cases that are the first to implement AI technology in actual scenarios and create real value, so as to provide the industry with application experience that can be referenced and learned from.
After the launch of the selection, it attracted wide attention from the industry. Nearly a hundred application cases were received successively, covering multiple production and life application scenarios such as intelligent manufacturing, intelligent customer service, content creation, enterprise management, intelligent office, safety monitoring, intelligent marketing, and smart healthcare, fully demonstrating the wide implementation and in-depth penetration of AI-native applications.
To ensure the professionalism, rigor, and fairness of the review process, 36Kr specially invited industry authoritative experts, senior investors, well-known scholars, and technology enthusiasts to form a review advisory group, which comprehensively and in-depth evaluated the cases from multiple dimensions such as technological innovation, application effect, demonstration effect, and social value.
Finally, after multiple rounds of screening and comprehensive review, 45 excellent AI-native application innovation cases stood out and were successfully shortlisted.

(In no particular order)
After analyzing the application materials, 36Kr found that the shortlisted cases presented the following characteristics:
1. Accelerated cross-domain integration: AI-native applications are no longer limited to a single domain but create new business models through cross-domain integration. Whether in the fields of e-commerce, finance, healthcare, or education, logistics, industrial manufacturing, etc., the presence of AI-native can be seen. This cross-domain integration not only broadens the application boundaries of AI but also provides new ideas and paths for the transformation and upgrading of traditional industries.
2. Deep integration into solving industry pain points: AI-native is deeply combined with industry pain points, giving rise to a series of characteristic solutions. These solutions achieve comprehensive optimization and intelligent upgrading of business processes by introducing AI-native, bringing significant economic and social benefits to enterprises.
3. Improvement of experience and personalized services: AI-native pays more attention to user/customer experience and personalized services. Through technologies such as natural language processing, voice recognition, and multi-modal interaction, AI-native applications can provide users/customers with more convenient, efficient, and personalized services, further improving user/customer satisfaction and loyalty.
4. Technical support and construction of innovation ecosystem: The development of AI-native applications cannot be separated from strong technical support and the construction of an innovation ecosystem. Most of the enterprises behind the shortlisted cases rely on self-developed large models, multi-modal technologies, deep learning, and other advanced technologies to create AI-native applications with unique advantages. At the same time, these enterprises also actively participate in the construction of the AI technology innovation ecosystem, promoting the continuous innovation and evolution of AI technology through open platforms, cooperative R & D, and other means.
Throughout the review process, 36Kr implemented strict confidentiality measures for the participating materials and data and carried out data desensitization in the review stage to effectively prevent the generation of bias and the risk of data leakage. At the same time, based on case studies and desktop research, the final selection results were determined under the comprehensive evaluation of the review advisory group.
Here, we would like to extend our sincere thanks to the 13 review guests!
